Boutique hôtel charmant mais avec beaucoup de défauts.
Pros:

Sur Google Maps, Booking et Agoda, cet hôtel est gratifié d'un 4 étoiles. Pas de classification sur leur site internet et Expedia le classe de 3 étoiles, ce qui me semble être bon.
Je fais confiance à Booking.com et je réserve cette chambre vue mer à 40 USD par nuit (taxe de séjour de 4 USD/nuit et petit-déjeuner inclus), ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix même pour un hôtel 3 étoiles.

Avec ses vieux toits de chaumes, cet hôtel fait local et est très romantique.

Ma chambre est grande (20m2) , propre, mais très peu lumineuse. La salle de bain est correcte.

Mon avion retour partant à 20 h ; la réception acceptera de faire un late check-out sans supplément.

L'ensemble du personnel, professionnel est avenant et courtois.

Sur le palier, une grande pièce servant de zone de restauration ou de bar dessert 2 chambres et 2 balcons. Le mien n'est pas attenant à la chambre. C'est depuis ce balcon que l'on a une vue mer (pas de la chambre très sombre) mais avec une vue d'abord sur un terrain vague en contrebas et surtout avec la nuisance sonore des groupes électrogènes alentour. zone de restauration. Ce hall donne sur un balcon qui semble être partagé.

Comme dans toute la Tanzanie, les coupures de courant sont légion et l'EDF locale ne prévient pas, contrairement à l'Afrique du Sud où ces coupures sont programmées. Cela est encore plus flagrant sur l'île de Zanzibar.
Nombre de resorts les pieds dans l'eau ont un puissant groupe électrogène insonorisé et les transitions semblent être beaucoup moins longues que dans notre boutique-hôtel propriétaire d'un Italien.
Lorsque je suis arrivé, le groupe électrogène fait beaucoup de bruit à l'entrée, il est situé à côté des cuisines et de la salle de restauration.
L'électricité revient comme par magie, mais lorsqu'il y a une coupure, nous restons dans le noir, donc sans électricité (cela coupe ma machine à respirer anti-apnée et me réveille) et sans wifi pendant un long moment avant que le personnel dédié redémarre et rebascule le groupe électrogène. Cet hôtel est situé sur un piton à 300 m de la plage de Kiwenga. La "route" d'accès très pentue est plutôt une piste caillouteuse. Ce qui est peu pratique pour une prise en charge par taxi pour les excursions et le départ-arrivée depuis l'aéroport. L'entrée est fermée et "gardée" par un Massai qui passe plus son temps à essayer de vendre son "art" qu'à ouvrir et fermer le portail en épaisse tôle bleue. L'entretien de cet hôtel serait à revoir.

Pros:

Der Service hat sehr nachgelassen. Kein Wasser Kein Saft kein Bier. Habe 2 mal das HP ausfallen lassen weil alles was ich bestellen wollte nicht ging. Ich mach eine Karte und die Hälfte davon kann man ich ordern. Würde nie mehr das buchen!

Cons:

schlecht man hat immer gefragt was ich will und was anderes gebracht! Katastrophe.

Pros:

Petit-déjeuner conséquent et repas bons malgré que les prix sont un peu chers (dans tous Kiwengwa finalement)
Piscine agréable et propre.

Cons:

La vue mer est quasi inexistante, en premier plan un monticule assez important de cailloux et de déchets de la maison voisine. La mer est perceptible au loin à travers toutes les feuilles de cocotier (au moins ça cache le tas d’ordure…)

The room was lovey and very clean. It was great having your own fridge and kettle. We enjoyed swimming in the swimming pool. The breakfasts were lovely.

Troppe aspettative
Pros:

Stanza sicuramente spaziosa, colazione buona e a volte con variazioni e staff disponibile.
Masai all'ingresso sempre pronto ad aprirci a qualsiasi orario. Struttura molto carina nel suo genere, con verde, piscina e arredi.

Cons:

Purtroppo la stanza vista mare che avevo prenotato, non aveva una vera e propria vista mare, perché è lontano in linea d'aria, con le numerose piante, non si vedeva nulla, almeno nella stanza al piano terra.
La posizione è al di là della strada principale, non sul mare, sconsiglio per chi non vuole camminare al buio la sera. Non è assolutamente pericoloso, però più scomoda ovviamente di altre strutture più vicine al mare.
La serratura della porta era difettosa, ma sono intervenuti appena lo abbiamo fatto presente.
Bagno non nuovissimo e con pochi confort.
Diciamo che dalle foto che avevo visto, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più.... Non corrispondeva molto alla bellezza delle foto della stanza che ho scelto.

Beautiful property with friendly staff
Pros:

The property was beautiful! The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were so lovely. The breakfast was really lovely.

Cons:

There was no bin in the bathroom which was annoying as I needed it for sanitary products. It was advertised as having a private beach which is true but it is at another property which is quite far away and you have to drive to which costs 20,000 TZS. This was a very nice place but I think it should have been made clear in the listing.
