Great location.
Pros:

The location was great. The hotel was a great deal. It was in the Sofitel but not as fancy as the Sofitel but for the price it was great.

Cons:

It was fine.

I would not stay here again.
Pros:

Close to Victoria Park and Woolworths

Cons:

This hotel is within a hotel so was not easy to find, no signage. To book in @ reception which is on level 3, you need an access card to activate the elevator. So we had to wait around downstairs until someone came down to look for us. Air conditioning was very poor, room was warm the entire 2 day stay. When we needed more towels ai asked housekeeping, she asked which hotel are we guests of. We were the other, so she would not give us towels and we had to go to reception to get more.

Lovely, luxurious stay, close to many attractions.
Pros:

Room was fantastic. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.

Cons:

Staff seemed distracted as they were about to close down and sometimes difficult to get hold of. It was disappointing not to be able to access the pool as this was one of my reasons for booking.

Outstanding value for money and will stay there again
Pros:

Excellent value for money. You get a Sofitel room at half the Sofitel price. Maybe use that in the pitch? Loved the French bar tender and the bar food. We ate in the bar 3 of the 4 nights. Room was luxurious and so was the bathroom.

Cons:

We stayed for 4 nights and were told that we would get the room serviced after the 3rd night. That didn't happen. Room wasn't serviced, towels and sheets weren't changed. I didn't bother calling housekeeping because of the price, still was good value for money.

Beautiful view, but not worth the money for the cleanliness and the temperature.
Pros:

The temperature of the room was high and the control button did not work, so we were very warm. The balcony had not been cleaned and had broken glass and beer bottle caps on it. Not what you would expect for the rates paid.

Cons:

The balcony was filthy and the the room was very hot with non-working temperature control.

Great location and room to be in central Auckland. Enjoyed walk around Viaduct.
Pros:

Really enjoyed our room. It was amazing. Especially with travelling to Europe recently, they have such small rooms, this room was big and comfortable. Had a great bathroom with deep bath, sliding door to deck area. big comfortable bed. Would definitely book this place again.

Cons:

nothing to not like.

You think it’ll be a good hotel due to being part of the Sofitel but it’s mutton dressed as lamb
Pros:

Good location if your room is facing the water. Nice and central.

Cons:

I asked for a quiet room. My room was facing the bus depot, and a main road. I could hear buses driving in until 11pm. When I asked to be moved so I wasn’t facing buses, I was told I needed to upgrade. The staff member I dealt with knew zero about customer service. I won’t be returning

Pros:

Location was good for where we were going too.

Cons:

Waiting for someone to come down to the lobby to take us to level 3 to check in .air con wasn't going in our room no body wash in the shower. Bar fridge was warm did not chill our beverages.

The price per night was a bit much.
