The Segond Hotel

Considering check in is at 3pm, the check out is early at 10am! Messages and calls only to speak to a hotel representative. By message I received a reply to use my room code to open the roof top door which didn't work, by call I was told that the roof top is still closed!.The room air-conditioning was on heating only and I was told (and there is also a note), to turn it off if I do not want heating, there was no other option, the room temperature was 26 deg in the evening and no thin bed sheet just a thick quilt! IT WAS ALSO FRUSTRATING TO COMUNICATE BY MESSAGES (NOT SURE REPLIES WERE STANDARD) OR BY CALLING. At 10am we were ready to leave and there was a knock on the door by cleaning staff.

- It could be cleaner
- Amenities were lacking (no toiletries, except for toilet paper and coffee/tea).
- We had a three year old child with us - no lock on room door.
- Visited in May when temperature was already rising yet air conditioner was still on fixed heating. The room was boiling!
- The BREAKFAST!!! Or should I say non-existant breakfast! We thankfully stayed for only 1 night as BF was a disaster, not enough for everyone, had to wait 30 minutes for a boiled egg ....

No staff available to prepare the second bed
The second bed was left for us with sheets from previous clients,
No hospitality. The Hotel seemed completely empty from any staff we didn’t meet anyone , all is managed remotely and by the client himself.

After 1h40 minutes receiving contradictory messages by whatsapp and telling us our situation would be treated as a priority, the problem was still not solved and we didn t received clean sheets for the bed.

At night we were told to go outside cross the street go upstairs in another building to find the cabinet where the staff is storing the sheets and go back to our room to prepare the bed ourselves !!

Better not to have any emergency situation with barroom or toilet here !

Pomimo codziennego sprzątania, podłoga była brudna. Balkon z każdej strony zabudowany lub zasłonięty ściana sąsiedniego budynku. Na balkonie czułem sie jak w ciasnej celi.

Cominciamo col dire che non è assolutamente possibile prenotare una camera indicata come SUITE FAMILIARE e trovare invece una normalissima camera con due letti matrimoniali, con un balconcino di mezzo metro che dà su una corte interna di cinque metri quadri, senza luce. Letti rumorosissimi. Staff inesistente, ho incontrato solo un cameriere indiano a colazione. All'arrivo il codice numerico comunicatomi tramite whatsapp per l'accesso alla camera non funzionava ed ho dovuto chiamare un numero telefonico di assistenza ed attendere quasi mezz'ora per risolvere il problema e per fortuna che non ho problemi con la lingua inglese perchè l'interlocutore non parlava italiano. Altri clienti presenti lì in albergo non hanno avuto la mia stessa fortuna ed hanno dovuto attendere molto tempo per entrare in camera. Il giorno successivo è stato cambiato il codice di accesso alla porta di ingresso principale della struttura e alle 22.30 abbiamo passato altri venti minuti al telefono per ricevere il nuovo codice e non era presente nessuno dello staff in struttura. Per poter entrare abbiamo dovuto minacciare di chiamare la polizia !

Room was always hot. The AC was set automatically on warm temperature.

Breakfast was very poor. I visited this hotel when it opend around 4 years ago and it was super good. This time i was very disappointed.

Il servizio di assistenza non è stato perfetto ma, dopo essermi interfacciato con la struttura, ho deciso di premiare ugualmente la struttura.
