5 Stars — Exceptional Stay from the Moment We Arrived!
Our first impression of The Drey Hotel set the tone for an incredible stay, all thanks to Lance Lashley, Guest Services Bell Captain. Meeting Lance first was absolute 5-star service — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. He made us feel right at home the second we stepped onto the property, and that outstanding level of hospitality carried through our entire visit.
Here is how the rest of our experience stacked up:
Location: Perfectly situated. It offers the ideal balance of being convenient to local highlights while still feeling like a tucked-away, sophisticated retreat.
Atmosphere: Stylish, welcoming, and vibrant. The whole property has an effortless charm and high-end energy that makes you want to linger in the public spaces.
Rooms: Beautifully designed and wonderfully comfortable. Every detail in the layout and decor felt intentional, creating a cozy yet elevated sanctuary to unwind in.
Value: Completely worth it. Considering the top-tier service, room quality, and high-end feel, the overall experience delivers tremendous value for the price.
Cleanliness: Impeccable throughout. From the spotless lobby to the pristine guest rooms, the housekeeping team clearly takes immense pride in maintaining a sparkling environment.
Noise Level: Wonderfully peaceful. Despite the hotel's lively energy, the rooms are remarkably quiet and well-insulated, making for a restful, uninterrupted sleep.
Service: World-class across the board. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, friendly, and dedicated to making sure every detail of our stay was seamless.
Amenities: Thoughtful and top-notch. Whether relaxing on-site or taking advantage of the property features, everything provided added a extra touch of luxury to our visit.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience and can't wait to return!
Excellent place to stay in the heart of North Dallas. Top notch staff and the grounds are awesome. Relaxing and rooms are beautiful. Lots to do all around. Highly recommend!
Lance was so helpful and friendly!
What a great hotel. The Bell Captain, Lance, was the best. He was so accommodating and sweet to our 5 year old twins. In preparation of our trip, the concierge called to confirm our American girl doll package and wrote a personalized note for our daughter. She was so excited! Overall a lovely weekend!
The village pool through some great pool parties and the amenities were great.
Laundry unit is a 5min walk and wasn’t compatible with an AU number meaning we couldn’t do the washing.
No breakfast on site but there is a cafe next door.
I chose to stay at the Drey Hotel because of the proximity to my daughter’s residence. The room was great with an abundance of amenities. I booked the Summer Splash Promo, which was to stay two nights and receive the third night free.
My room was not serviced the next day (Saturday) but thanks to the online Village Concierge, I was at least able to make a request and received fresh towel sets for the evening. On Sunday my room was serviced but no towels were left. I made a request to the front desk for clean, fresh towel sets on my way out to dinner. I returned to my room later in the evening and found bath towels but no wash clothes or hand towels. Once again, I requested from the front desk wash clothes and hand towels. I was later given hand towels and make-up clothes to use as wash clothes from a cleaning crew member who told me “that is what’s left”.
I checked out Monday morning and because others were ahead of me and my ride to the airport was waiting, I opted to have the final bill be sent the email on file. To my astonishment, there was an itemized room charge, city occupancy tax, state occupancy tax, resort fee, along with another city and state occupancy tax for each of the three nights of my stay. I called and the front desk staff could not explain why there was a room charge for all three nights when I booked using the Summer Splash Promo offering the third night free. I was then called by a supervisor who stumbled through each line item that still did not give a plausible explanation why I was charged for three nights and not two. I was then told that the director would give me a call and almost two weeks later I have yet to hear from anyone.
Lance was awesome!! Nice clean hotel with great customer service
I have stayed at The Drey several times. It is in great location, especially if you are visiting someone who lives in The Village. The area surrounding The Drey is beautiful, with pools, walking paths and an amazing coffee shop called Buzz and Bustle. The staff is always amazing, with most having worked there for years and they always seem to remember returning guests. The rooms are always spotless and well appointed. The area is normally quiet and relaxing, except for weekends when there are pool parties at The Village's main pool, which get quite loud. The Drey will always be my go-to place to stay when I visit NE Dallas.
Zimmer waren top die Anlage im Gesamten auch
Der Bell Boy ist hervorzuheben
Rezeption war sehr schwach
Hosted a Girls Trip themed activation at The Drey and everyone had the best time! The rooms and hotel are beautiful, the property it sits on is also stunning - everything you may need are all within The Village. The staff were also amazing, Lance in particular took such great care of us throughout the weekend! Only note is the pool does host events in the day so it can be a bit noisy if you're facing the pool side.
Atmosphere was amazing. Loved the pool party, Games available, and loved the private balcony. Great place to get away to even if you stay in town.
Trash cans where not emptied and only one robe. Good idea to spoil both guest especially a couple.
This was my second stay at the Drey. Great location and helpful staff! Last time I had a corner King, overlooking the grass and pool. Great for people watching! This time my husband was joining me so I thought it would be nice to upgrade to a room with a balcony... Either I missed it or it didn't mention the balcony rooms are overlooking the street in front of the hotel (road noise) and directly across from their new construction project. We woke up at 8am (6am our time) to about 10 guys directly across from us doing construction ... not ideal... The staff was semi sympathetic (semi) and of course there were no other rooms available (except a standard King and it was too much work to move). I'm only writing this so people know the view from the balcony room is nothing special and after the construction is complete it looks like you will be looking directly into someone's apartment or hotel room. I preferred the rooms overlooking the grass and pool area. There were pool parties but they ended by 7pm. I don't think the noise from that would have bothered us as much as the construction. Either way it would have been nice to know before we booked the "upgraded" room...
Hotel was very accommodating, very clean and pretty. Great little area. Medallia the bellhop was so kind and helpful, made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed!
We absolutely loved our stay. The room we booked was spacious, clean, beautiful and comfortable. Lance, the bell captain, greeted us with a complimentary glass of wine, and he was kind and helpful, as were all of the staff members we encountered - from the front desk to the valet to housekeeping. We enjoyed the location, which was tucked away yet still convenient, with restaurants, coffee shop and activities within close proximity. We will definitely stay here again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Drey Hotel. A very convenient location and an extremely friendly and guest service focused staff. Special thanks to Lance, Bell Captain, and Bray, Valet, for taking such good care of everyone in our group. Very much appreciated.
Thank you!
