From the moment we arrived and were warmly welcomed by Malcolm, we knew we’d found somewhere special. The hotel is beautiful, location fantastic and the staff are exceptional. Breakfast was amazing (big thanks to Rabi & Oumaima for wonderful attentive service) as were evening meals (dined there three times) - huge thanks to chef and waitress Cheryl for consistently wonderful food and service. Location is great… Mellieha is a calm respite from the more busy capital, but easy to reach anywhere (by bus or Bolt). Garrett was also super charming and helpful with lots of tips to maximise our stay. Looking forward to returning already. Congrats all, your Michelin key is well deserved.

I always use Tripadvisor when finding a place to stay & all of the reviews helped me to pick the Lure Hotel for our recent stay and it lived up to everything I had read!

Stayed at the Lure Hotel in October, it was everything you could wish for. Its location was excellent. Such a quaint hotel & setting. Gareth the owner went above and beyond looking after us. The food was outstanding, the breakfast freshly cooked to order and/or the continental options on a three tier plate was so delicious. We also choose to eat at the hotel four evenings as nothing else compared to the quality & service.

We really hope to return again in the future..

My stay at The Lure in Mellieħa was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel perfectly combines modern elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

The service stood out immediately — every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely eager to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean, with elegant touches that made it feel both luxurious and relaxing.

The breakfast was another highlight, offering a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality options — all beautifully presented. The spa and pool area provided a serene escape; everything was spotless, and the ambiance was incredibly soothing.

Garrett and Stephanie Zerafa are the perfect proprietors of The Lure Hotel and Spa. Attentive to detail and always available for recommendations and questions. Overall, The Lure exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s the perfect place for anyone seeking comfort, style, and top-tier service in one of Malta’s most picturesque locations.

Comfortable cozy and relaxing weekend with good service. The only issue we had is that we needed to ask for house keeping to re do couple of things in our room and they vere very fast and professional about it. Location wise the hotel is close to many restaurants. Breakfast was really good.

The Accommodation was Excellent, very clean and spacious.
The Food served both at Breakfast & Dinner was of the highest quality.
We also enjoyed the very relaxing Spa area.
Also a big thank you to every member of Staff who were extremely helpful and professional.

Second stay in this lovely boutique hotel on the parish square in Mellieha.
The rooms are well equipped, the service is personal and appropriate. The breakfast is well presented and the hot element is cooked to order. The village location gives a taste of local life.
Well placed for restaurants both on the square and in the village. Easy access to transport. 2 Catholic Churches within 200yards adds to the local colour.

Visited Malta for a bit of late summer sun and found this perfect hotel.
Adults only, small number of rooms, great location on a small, quiet square (except for a short time on Sunday at 9am when the church bells ring).
The staff are lovely. The treatments at the spa were very good. Best bit was the restaurant. Amazing food.

Fantastic hotel is situated in a beautiful square, and very close to restaurants and the beach.
The check in was quick and efficient, we were greeted by Oumaima, she offered us a welcome drink and provided us with all information we needed. All hotel staff were so friendly and helpful.
Delicious breakfast, good size room and very comfortable beds and pillows! The walk in shower was great and very large.
We had a very pleasant stay. We would highly recommend this hotel!

Such a nice hotel. Cosy, beautiful, quiet and luxurious with a nice view. The suite was big and had everything you needed for a relaxed stay. The staff was nice, very professional and service minded. It was a pleasure to meet them every morning. The breakfast was great, love that it was a continental breakfast included and then you got to order something extra they cooked from the menu. The roomservice staff we met was nice, friendly and helpful with what we wished for, we always came back to a good smelling, clean room. The location was really nice, the only thing was that it’s a 30min walk to the beach with one steep hill going home. But there’s bolt/uber or busses that can fix that. It was the best hotel I have stayed at, providing both quality and great value.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at The Lure. We stayed in a deluxe room with a balcony overlooking the square and the charming sound of the church bells — a lovely view to wake up to.

The hotel facilities are excellent: a spacious indoor pool with sauna, and a rooftop pool that we often had almost entirely to ourselves. The rooftop bar (open on Fridays and Saturdays) was the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks — Cheryl makes superb cocktails!

We celebrated our anniversary with dinner at The Core Restaurant, and it was memorable. The Uruguayan striploin was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast deserves a special mention too: the generous three-tier platters of pastries, cheeses, meats, and fruits — followed by delicious cooked options — were more than enough to keep us going well into the afternoon.

Our room was spotless, with a huge emperor-size bed and a walk-in shower. Everything was maintained to the highest standard.

But what really made the stay exceptional was the staff. Most of our interactions were with Rabi, who was outstanding — engaging, personable, and a true credit to the hotel. That said, every member of the team impressed us with their kindness, professionalism, and warmth.

Thank you all for a truly wonderful (anniversary) stay — we sincerely hope to return sometime in the future !

The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Both pools were amazing, the one on the roof had beautiful city and ocean views. If you are staying in mellieha would highly recommend staying there.

An absolute fantastic hotel with beautiful surrounds, amazing facilities and the friendliest staff you could with for.

Well this hotel is the best hotel i've ever stayed in. The location is fantastic for exploring Malta. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area in Mallieha very close to the pretty church. There are lots of restaurants around the area within walking distance.

The check in was fantastic, we were greeted by Rabi and had a welcome drink and even though we arrived early, our room was ready. The room was amazing, lovely size and was energy efficient. We had an incredible experience shower in our room and the bed was so comfortable. The room was so clean and our lovely cleaning ladies were absolutely fantastic and gave the room a full on clean every day. The room has blackout curtains and a range of different lighting. Lovely toiletries and an iron and ironing board which we used every day.

We also used both pools - The outdoor rooftop pool was lovely and clean and lovely views. We however preferred the indoor pool and steam room which was so relaxing. Towels are provided in both pools for you. We didn't use the rooftop bar although we did have a look and it looked lovely.

Breakfast was incredible - three tier stand with continental breakfast and choice of drink to start. Then you get to choose a choice from the menu and everything was cooked perfectly. Best breakfast i've had in a hotel!!

We also ate out three times in the Core Restaurant which was amazing - service was excellent and there was a good choice of food every time we ate there. There was plenty of fresh fish which they come and show you at the table and will fillet it for you. All food was cooked perfectly.

I was sad to leave this hotel today, all the staff are fantastic and can't do enough to help you. They gave us advice on what we could do around Malta and we used quite a few of their suggestions and had an amazing time. I would 1000% stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Lure Hotel & Spa as a couple. The facilities are fantastic and everything is kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight: a beautiful 3-tier platter each morning with cured meats, fresh fruit, & pastries with the option to order delicious à la carte dishes as well.

The rooftop pool offers a breathtaking view — though there aren’t many sun loungers, the atmosphere is relaxing and worth it for the scenery alone. The spa pool and hammam were equally amazing and perfect for unwinding.

What made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Every single member of the team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely went out of their way to make us feel special. The hotel’s location on a charming square in the Mellieħa neighborhood adds to the experience: peaceful, picturesque and convenient.
