A slice of heaven along the Columbia River
Pros:

We chose Bowline as our final stop after a 420 miles bike ride across Washington. It was the most miraculous slice of heaven (after braving our way over the Astoria Megler bridge...which was a terrifying ride!) I sat on the patio and watched the boats move along the Columbia and listened to the sea lions bark. (Thankfully there were only about 6 in residence so they weren't making a cacophony. Took a greatly needed soaked in the tub with the best smelling sea salts. Enjoyed the most delicious salmon chowder at the chef's recommendation. And was within walking distance to the Astoria Sunday Market. Oh, and the bed was super comfy too. I want to visit Astoria again, just to stay here!

I’m moving in!
Pros:

This place is amazing!! Get a room on with the ocean view and turn up the fireplace, draw a bath and enjoy some champagne! We came here for the first stop on our honeymoon and I never want to leave! We left our hometown later than we thought, Heidie at the front desk was texting us and I told her we wouldn’t get there until 9:30. She sent over the menu and had our food ready as soon as we walked in the door with complimentary champagne. She is such a sweetie and so helpful. 10/10 recommend this hotel and their wonderful staff!
