The Hotel is located very close to the skiing Grosses Speiereck. The parking lot is right in front of the hotel. On the first impression hotel looks a bit old school, but hotel says on booking website very comfortable bed and cover, room service everyday. What was totally extraordinary: three courses dinner. That was delicious. The breakfast was served as self service, with limited offer which was every day the same, but I think every one with different taste will be satisfied (I totally was). Coffee machine with nespresso capsules was just great start of the day! Personal was just great, the owner and also all the other people were positive and very helpful. After skiing I enjoyed finnish sauna every day and had it exclusively for me. The only disadvantage is no resting place after sauna. In the end I totally recommend this Hotel and I might visit it again! Thank you for a great stay!

Hotel Speiereck is operating in a traditional Austrian building, where the wooden beams and coloumns give a warm and authentic mood to the place, just like the huge green tile stove in the restaurant area.
"Old" an "new" meet here in an exciting way: the strong 70-80s feeling is compensated by the modern pieces of furniture in the rooms.
The ski holder at the entrance and the heated ski boot holder in the basement are very useful, while the sauna is a great place to warm you up after the day on the hill.
The parking space of the hotel is limited, but the open parking area of Speiereck Ski area (free of charge) is just 200m away, which can be easily walked even with smaller kids.
The staff was very kind and even more helpful during our stay!
I definitely recommend the half-board:
The continental breakfast has everything you need for a good morning start (cereals, meat, fruits and vegetables, fresh baked goods, etc.).
In the evening there is a 3 course dinner with special dishes of perfect quality and quantity, served in an elegant restaurant's style.
We had a great time in Hotel Speiereck, I'd like to return once!

Brugte det som overnatning til sommerferie til Italien. Super service og så er det tæt på motorvej. Kommer helt sikkert igen.

Klassisk, østrigsk hotel. Yderst imødekommende, venligt og hjælpsomt personale! De var der 100% for deres gæster.
Vi kom på en stille dag, så restauranten var lukket, men der var ikke langt til spisesteder i byen. Der var en mindre men godt varieret morgenbuffet i hyggelige omgivelser og med flot udsigt.
Værelset var lille, men der var en dejlig, stor kontinentalseng med lækre dundyner. Vi nød den store terrasse, hvor vi lige netop kunne sidde i læ og nyde regn, torden og bjergudsigt med et glas Prosecco. Da min kone spurgte den unge mand i receptionen, om vi kunne låne to vinglas til vores medbragte vin, sikrede han sig, at vi fik de helt rigtige glas til vinen (gav hende ikke bare to standardglas) og insisterede på, at vi også skulle have en isspand med, selvom vinen allerede var nedkølet. Topservice!!
Kommer vi på disse kanter igen, er det dette hotel vi vælger.

Hyggeligt lille hotel. Meget brugt i skisæson, men også fint til overnatning på vejen sydpå. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale.

The hotel is located in a very picturesque village. The interiors are stylized as a mountain chateau - very beautiful.
