Great location and food was decent staff very friendly
Only thing I found was the internet was poor but everything else was top notch
Nice pub. Rooms did the job well.
Nothing really.
It’s a great location in the high street. The food and drinks were good without being exceptional.
Some of the fixtures were a little tired. I appreciate that they had to fit toilets that were on an internal wall but they are very noisy.
Staff very nice out side space well kept
The room was very basic and rundown with damaged plug sockets cobwebs all over the tops of wardrobe dirt on window sill in desperate need of decoration
The room was a decent size the food was excellent the quality and presentation exceeded above all expectations beautifully cooke very friendly staff and very helpful
The room needed some tlc and the shower didn't t be ought out hot water but other than that it was great would stay again
Cheap and cheerful, looking for a short stop over for work
Noisy room, swinging external sign, road noise, also above main bar so some expected noise
Missing tv remote, didn't bother asking as only 1 night.
Comfortable
Toilet pump noise
The hosts made us feel very welcomed and the beds was lovely had we had a great night's sleep
Nothing the accommodation and venue was brilliant, definitely going back early part of next year.
Nicely kept Taylors Landlord
Food could have been more imaginative and they don't do breakfast weekdays
Location isn't too far by taxi
I didn't expect a spar across the road but comes in handy
Staff were welcoming and approachable
My chicken roast was much needed
Having hot chocolate alongside tea and coffee was unexpected but nice and didn't last long
Comfy bed
One of the under sink cupboard doors isnt attached properly when U open it
Not enough mash or veg on the roast but only because I'm used to big portions
Tv had no picture or signal
But apart from that I enjoyed it and no doubt will be coming back at some point
The room was nice clean and comfortable
The room was lovely and clean but was very noisy with people in the pub downstairs our room was next to the beer garden and smoke shelter so was very noisy managed to sleep at 1am , then woke up with the side door at 8.30am with bar staff coming and going
The bed was comfy, it was easy to find & the staff are friendly.
The room needs a significant upgrade, I felt I'd been transported to the 70's. Mismatched furniture, a wonky rail as the only storage & paint peeling/cracks everywhere. Very strange to have a shower cubicle in the corner but it was at least hot. Strangely more expensive than a lot of great Airbnbs I've stayed at. It is above a rowdy pub so if you're a light or early sleeper, it might not be for you.
