The location was great and the room larger than average for Amsterdam. The staff was super friendly. The story of the building also lent a little something extra to the stay.
It would have been nice to have a little common area in which to hang out. The room was a bit too perfumed and seemed a little damp, but maybe that's just Amsterdam.

This is a beautiful hotel. Attention to detail is second to none. The property is a a gorgeous location and also conveniently located. The staff were attentive. The breakfast was exceptional. Cannot recommend more highly

This hotel is very unique. The decor is impressive. A lot of attention to detail. The location at the bottom corner of the "9 streets" shopping district is perfect. The museum district is an easy 15 to 20 minute walk. The hotel stands right on a canal and makes for a great view. The staff (particularly Charlie and Camilla) were exceptional. The breakfast (served in your room) was very good. The bed was fabulous and the linen (including bathroom towels) in very good condition. The bathroom was small but very well appointed with a double shower. They were very happy to store my bike bag for the duration of our stay as well.
The storage space in the room is limited, but they have tried to be creative in addressing this. Two plugs did not work, but Camilla was very gracious in listening to me and then assuring me it would be addressed. The copper bath in the room is not (I think) necessary and takes a fair amount of space that might be better used by having a desk / table and chair.

Ontbijt op bed was top maar geen ontbijttray voorzien en eieren en pancakes waren al koud voor we begonnen eten… dus best deksel opzetten ofzo?
The location was great. Not very crowded but still in the center. And the staff were very friendly nice and helpful!
The AC was to weak during a heatwave
The location in historical Amsterdam is amazing and the staff is so kind and helpful that you have your every need catered for. We were taken care by Helene and Camile. And of course the room inspired on a historical scientist and the garden view were excellent. It could have been a problem for us that we had luggage and we needed to use stairs, but we got so much help that it was unnoticed.
Wooow! Wow! This hotel literally stole my heart, since the first minute. Unique design and energy of this place absolutely incredible!!! Breakfast was awesome! Cleaning service was top! Huge thanks to Charles! He made my stay much more memorable! Service was 10 out of 10! Very helpful, kind, friendly guy! Aron and Pana are also been amazing. I definitely wanna come back!

Het is een speciaal kleinschalig hotel met een hele originele, hoogwaardig aankleding. Je leeft echt in een oud herenhuis met alles in de stijl van vroeger alleen met alle moderne technische gemakken. Vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel.
Alles is hier verder goed.
