Pros:

Disappointed by the "Luxury" Experience

I booked this hotel expecting a luxury stay based on the glowing reviews, but unfortunately, it fell far short of that promise.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was underwhelming. Check-in was inconvenient and uncomfortable — you're left standing outside in the scorching sun, speaking with reception through a window. After a long journey in intense heat, not even a glass of water was offered. When I asked for one, I was charged €4 per bottle. That set the tone for the rest of the stay.
While the hotel is technically beachfront, the beach itself is rocky and not really swimmable. There are no umbrellas or amenities offered, and you’re essentially on your own. The location is very isolated, which could appeal to some, but there’s nothing nearby — so unless you plan to eat every meal at the hotel (at an extra cost), be prepared to drive.
The rooms are actually quite nice: clean, spacious, and well-designed. However, the pool area is only *semi*-private, so don't expect the secluded luxury vibe you might be hoping for. The WiFi is slow and unreliable, which can be frustrating if you need to stay connected.
Overall, while the setting is peaceful and quiet, the service and lack of attention to detail make it hard to justify calling this place "luxurious." It's a decent stay if you're looking for seclusion and don't mind paying extra for everything — but if you’re expecting a high-end, full-service experience, this isn’t.

Pros:

A truly wonderful hotel with amazing suites and views. The architecture and decor is perfect for the location. Beautiful gardens with ocean views from everywhere. Staff are really delightful and helpful. There are a number of excellent tavernas within walking distance in the local town. The hotel does do food which is very good and is delivered either to your suite or to a couple of spots in the garden. You need to check how long it will take to get the food as they are not a restaurant and if busy it can take a little while to get it. However, worth the wait. We will definitely come back and stay.
