Construction area nowhere to relax. No sitting by anything. Very very tiny room.
A bit outdated and no pool. Was t told that when booking.
The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. BEST MATTRESSES ON THE ISLAND!!!
Water in the shower was not very hot. Not really even warm.
Very good food at the restaurant.
I booked this property through Expedia for my family of five, expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite.
After a long day of travel with three young kids, we arrived to a room that smelled musty, was uncomfortably hot (AC was too small to cool it), and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. The bedding seemed unwashed, the bathroom was moldy, the towels were ripped, and the floor was dirty. The front door had visible damage, like it had been previously kicked in and poorly repaired.
We carried all our luggage up to the second floor ourselves — no staff offered help. The area felt unsafe, with people watching from across the street. The second room they offered us looked just as bad.
We immediately packed up and left. While we’re still working with Expedia for a refund (the hotel is being difficult), I want to be clear: I would never put my family’s safety and comfort at risk over $600. Yes, I’m upset about the money, but peace of mind on vacation is priceless.
I hope this review helps other families avoid the same mistake. What you see online is not what you get.
I stayed in a nice room with Ocean view #308. the bathroom, the bed, and the small refrigerator were good. They are located nearby a large supermarket. The place is in an area that you need a car to stay here. There is nothing nearby. You cannot walk to restaurants or to a beach. They have a small pool with a nice view to the ocean. The best part of the hotel was the dive shop. The dive master is excellent (Bruce), he learned to dive in the Honduran Navy. Also, he help me make small repairs to my scuba equipment.
These are things they can improve. The general internet connection was not good, we complained and they ended up helping us. You should NOT need a code for each device that connects to the internet (each phone and each laptop) , that is ridiculous. We complained about it and they listened and helped. The breakfast was ok. And, we had to ask for bread, jelly, and butter, otherwise, they would not bring it to us. At first, I did not know they had bread or juice, I had to ask to find out. Their breakfast buffet table was missing several things, if you did not ask, you did not get. Same with service for the room, we asked for it to be cleaned after two days without service. The following day it was cleaned and they brought us fresh towels. The faucet handle on the shower was broken, the drain cover in the sink was broken.
At the end, they were friendly and they listened to us.

Hospitality and food were excellent!! And the staff super friendly and never too busy to tend to our needs. I love coming to this place every year!!!
Tv wasn’t working properly (no wifi). Toilet was leaking and had horrible scent…..Restaurant; staff at the bar was nice but the food was terrible.
Nice place. But I got double charged for my room. And took me so long to get a refund. No perks for my inconvenience.
Good food, friendly staff, conveniently located. Would stay again.
It’s a quiet place, love the people that works there, very helpful thank you 🙏
Breakfast was so delicious
We booked a ocean front room after our week on the Aggressor dive boat. The room was very far from the pool, bar, restaurant. When we checked in there was only one bath towel, no bath mat. I had to ask for more towels and was given two pool towels because they couldn't access bath towels. I had to ask for more toilet paper three times (we were only given one roll and it was not replenished when the room was made up). On the upside, the bed was comfortable, the A/C worked well, the breakfast which was included was good and the pool area is quite nice. My only recommendation was to not stay ocean front, it's not worth it.
We were supposed to get free breakfast. One morning we had to pay.
The driver that picked us up was not from the hotel— because that shuttle was being used. We paid the driver for the fee but he told the hotel we did not pay him. So we had to pay for the second time for the shuffle to the hotel.
The pictures on line are not realistic.
Nice
The "Ocean" rooms smelled of sewage terribly due to proximity to the Marina. Had to move to garden area. Once we did the room was great. Staff is super helpful and kind. Good dining options. Can't say enough about how great the staff was. Rooms are slightly outdated and seemed old, but fine. Bed was comfortable and clean.
Friendly, personable, quaint, beautiful describe this nice hotel. Our garden view room was spacious, a very comfortable bed and spacious deck overlooking the beautiful landscape. The beach area that is a short drive away was fun to explore.
It’s a good place
