Exceptional service, beautiful resort and fantastic food

We had a wonderful stay at LUX* Marijani and would highly recommend it.

The biggest highlight of this resort is the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. They genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had the best possible experience.

The food was excellent. Everything was fresh, varied and of high quality. There were plenty of healthy options available, which we really appreciated. The staff regularly checked if everything was to our liking and whether we wanted to order anything. You truly do not have to worry about anything during your stay.

We stayed on an all-inclusive package and were impressed by all the extra touches. The rooms were cleaned twice a day, the minibar was replenished, and we even received small cakes delivered to our room. During lunch, guests are given refreshing ice-cold towels, and on the beach staff even offer to clean your sunglasses. These small details really make the resort stand out.

The cleanliness throughout the property was exceptional. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We did not see a single stain, dirty area or neglected corner during our stay.

The restaurant staff incl. kitchen chefs were extreemly helpful kind. The food was delicious and served professionally. The resort was beautiful, and Abubakar was a great entertainer and a very hearty person. Local traditional games, walking tours and pool exercises were arranged for the guests.
The rooms are spacy and nearby the beach.

Il fatto che sia un resort di dimensioni ridotte ha fatto sì che si creasse un ottimo rapporto con tutto lo staff. Sono tutti estremamente cordiali e simpatici, sempre pronti con il sorriso. Una menzione particolare ad Ahmed e Charz che mi hanno tenuto molta compagnia durante la mia vacanza in solitaria.
Inoltre ho apprezzato davvero tanto sia la cucina tradizionale, sempre ottima e saporita, che il ristorante Libanese che dava un sacco di varietà con piatti squisiti.
Inoltre ho apprezzato tantissimo tutte le varie attività proposte incluse nel prezzo.
La mia camera era molto spaziosa, pulita e tutto funzionava correttamente, veniva pulita e sistemata 2/3 volte al giorno.
L'atmosfera generale è molto curata con molte attenzioni verso il cliente.
Penso davvero di aver fatto un ottima scelta e lo consiglio a chiunque voglia soggiornare a Zanzibar, specialmente per il prezzo molto competitivo.

It was not that big with only 85 rooms which made it easy to get around. In addition they had plenty of dining area and lounge chairs. It was a beautiful property and the beach was awesome. During low tide you could walk out hundreds of yards and the water was only waist deep in some areas. The staff was so helpful. They catered to us above and beyond what we expected. The snorkeling and dolphin excursion and Mnemba Island with Mubararaka from the Watersports desk by the beach was great. We were in the water about 30 feet from 20 dolphins!

The service is excellent

Location is great, place next to the beach, very neat. The food was great, diverse and many healthy options, suitable for all people having special diet or having food allergies. Chef Desi was very helpful with my son’s allergies and were many options available or prepared. Hussein and Rehema were very supportive with bookings,Jane playing with kids at the kids club and Abdul energizing every one with sports. Is a place to return!

Great location, beach is amazing

The breakfast is a real big feast with so much variety. One is safer inside for fear of crows too keen to have a share!

The hotel location is great, on a beautiful clean beach! Depending on the time of day, it can take an hour and a half from the airport.

Our stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The level of service, hospitality, and attention to detail exceeded all expectations. Every member of the staff was warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile.

The rooms were beautifully maintained, the amenities were outstanding, and the room service was consistently fast and excellent. Every part of the experience felt thoughtful and luxurious, making our stay truly comfortable and memorable.

A special thank you to the management & Mr. Hossam (Guest Manager) and the entire team for creating such a welcoming atmosphere. We truly felt valued as guests and look forward to returning again soon.
