This resort is a real gem amidst one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar! The staff is amazing, they made us feel like home during the entire stay. Facilities are excellent, cleanliness is impeccable and dining was more than delicious and served with care. Very highly recommended…

Excellent hotel and a beautiful resort. Small, romantic and impeccably maintained. Because of its size and the great upkeep, it feels almost picture-perfect. The rooms are gorgeous, beautifully designed and finished to a very high international standard. We checked in late at night, so we had missed dinner. Without us even asking, the hotel compensated this with a lunch the next day, which was hugely appreciated. There was also a lovely Zanzibar-themed evening, with local people selling local products. Very nicely organised.

Lovely property. It was small enough to be quaint but large enough to have everything you need. Felt intimate and tranquil.

As someone with celiac disease, I was blown away by the number of gluten-free options available. The chefs and restaurant team took my dietary requirements seriously, which made the whole experience completely stress-free.

Es imposible describir lo maravillosa que fue nuestra estancia, el trato, la habilidad, la cercanía.
Se estropeó la puerta de la habitación por la noche y a la mañana siguiente nos lo solucionaron e incluso el Manager del hotel nos regaló un pastel pidiéndonos disculpas... ( Sin palabras de lo detallistas que fueron ). Las vistas, el personal, las instalaciones. La comida riquísima, el buffet increíble... Los cócteles...

Exceptional service, beautiful resort and fantastic food

We had a wonderful stay at LUX* Marijani and would highly recommend it.

The biggest highlight of this resort is the staff. Every single member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. They genuinely seemed to care about making sure guests had the best possible experience.

The food was excellent. Everything was fresh, varied and of high quality. There were plenty of healthy options available, which we really appreciated. The staff regularly checked if everything was to our liking and whether we wanted to order anything. You truly do not have to worry about anything during your stay.

We stayed on an all-inclusive package and were impressed by all the extra touches. The rooms were cleaned twice a day, the minibar was replenished, and we even received small cakes delivered to our room. During lunch, guests are given refreshing ice-cold towels, and on the beach staff even offer to clean your sunglasses. These small details really make the resort stand out.

The cleanliness throughout the property was exceptional. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. We did not see a single stain, dirty area or neglected corner during our stay.

The restaurant staff incl. kitchen chefs were extreemly helpful kind. The food was delicious and served professionally. The resort was beautiful, and Abubakar was a great entertainer and a very hearty person. Local traditional games, walking tours and pool exercises were arranged for the guests.
The rooms are spacy and nearby the beach.
