A great experience!
Pros:

Everything was great, good quality of service and a very welcoming staff!

It's our second stay in Novotel Tunis Lac and it only gets better!
The room is super confortable, ecofriendly and well equipped with the latest technologies.
Plus the proximity makes it a good deal.

We were very pleased with our stay, thanks to the whole team!

Update : We also came back for an Iftar in Ramadan, and it was super tasty with a large variety of dishes and a great service as usual!

Pros:

Lovely room, emaculate, a shower and soaking bath, even a second bathroom. Three meals offered daily, the excellent and complete breakfast is included with the room. Meals are available during Ramadan. I really enjoyed my stay and would certainly recommend Novotel Tunis Lac

Nothing like the Tunisian Hospitality
Pros:

We stayed in this hotel for almost 1 week. The staff were wonderful. The place is well equipped with a lot of attention to details. The hospitality that we experienced made us feel very much at home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know

A great experience during our business stay in Tunis. Highly recommend!
Pros:

-The breakfeast buffet is fantastic with a wide variety of sweet and salty specialities.
-The staff is attentive and cooperative; Our business stay at the hotel was very successfull thanks to them.
-We had many meetings in one of the meeting rooms. It was a professional environment with all necessary equipment (Projector, Flipchart...).
-At the restaurant we tried salads; the preparation was quick and they were tasty.

Overall a great experience; One drawback, which the hotel itself can not do much about it, is the fact that some very loud motorcycles drive at early morning 1-2 AM. I would not take a room at the main street next time.

We arrived after 1.30 am to check in with tired sleepy kids , reception told us that we have an upgrade, when we entered the room the room was not ready and we found that there is no sofa bed ! The process of having another room took over 40 min

The delay in the check in and having the correct room is a big issue when u have kids and you only need the room for few hours before your next flight

Great modern hotel
Pros:

We were traveling with two small children and felt that the setup in the superior room worked really well, with a spacious sofa bed and the TV console as smart design solution for room separation. The two bathrooms and big bathtub plus walk-in shower added hugely to our comfort.
The view was non-existent (looking at an apartment building) and at night it could get a little noisy outside but nothing too disturbing. Otherwise the hotel was very quiet.
The included breakfast was high quality, very tasty Tunisian food and French pastry, really good with something for everyone. The staff was friendly, efficient and professional. If anything I’d say that they seem to be more used to business travelers and maybe people who come for shopping (the Mall of Tunisia is nearby), they didn’t seem to be used to proactively giving advice tourists trying to find their way around.

The location was optimal for us, within 15min of the airport, Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. Downtown was more like 25min and the Bado was even further away, so we only went in that direction once.
Generally the area had good amenities including a playground, pharmacies and cafes, some embassies are nearby and there’s a notable police presence due to the proximity to the presidential palace.
Overall, a great stay and would definitely recommend.
