Cons:

Meals not so appealing. Ate some chambord, not so fresh.
Came into my room, balcony floor, furniture etc were very dusty.

Herrlich ruhig und doch alles gut erreichbar
Pros:

Ein tolles ruhiges Hotel mit sehr zuvorkommendem Service. Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Lilongwe wieder ins Bamboo gehen.

Very comfy bed, friendly staff, nice meals.

Cons:

Loud music playing outside on the patio immediately outside my room, which was very audible because the bathroom window was broken and wouldn't close. Staff were quite confused when I asked for the music to be turned off and was initially told it would be on all night, though eventually it was turned down. I find this crazy, especially given the relatively high price for Lilongwe - please turn the music off without guests having to ask! Otherwise the hotel was fantastic so this was a shame.

If you’re a light sleeper, request a room upstairs. First floor rooms have a bit of noise from routine maintenance around the property in the mornings.

Pros:

Loved everything. Staff very accommodating and appreciated the welcome juice on arrival. Lovely restaurant with very good food and well priced. Robe and slippers provided as well. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful accommodation, then Bamboo Boutique Hotel is for you
