We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our room wasn’t ready at the official check-in time, which was a little disappointing at first. However, the staff handled the situation professionally and went above and beyond to make up for the delay. Their kindness and excellent customer service completely turned the experience around.
The hotel itself was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. Every member of the staff was friendly and attentive, and we truly felt well taken care of throughout our stay.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable!
Love the LaSalle!!
So classy and nice. Favorite part was the Grill on 21, food was divine!
Only thing I didn’t like was my room was at the very end of the hall, but that’s going to happen from time to time.
Sincerest appreciation to staff at the LaSalle Chicago. Thank you to Lurance, Mike, Maria and Naoimi for an quick response on a weekend to a minor (in my opinion) maintenance issue. Clearly their focus is to ensure that patrons have a 1st class experience emphasizing 24/7 response.
We booked a rate that included breakfast, but the incompetent hotel staff still charged us anyways. We didn't notice until it was too late and then life got too busy for us to be on the phone arguing with them. Would never, ever stay with a hotel whose restaurant staff did not communicate properly with the front desk/booking staff ever again. Awkward location, rooms look nice but everything is slightly wrong. Hinges on doors creak like a haunted house, poor soundproofing. Never staying here again. If anyone does want to stay here for the location, double-triple check your hotel bill. There's a lot of incompetence here.
I recently stayed at The LaSalle Chicago, and as a Lifetime Platinum Elite member, I can say this property truly understands hospitality.
I had a specific request for an ergonomic chair to handle some extended work during my stay. Naome at the front desk was absolutely incredible. She didn’t just look for a chair; she went above and beyond to relocate me to a room perfectly equipped with a proper desk and table setup to ensure I was comfortable.
It is rare to find service this proactive and thoughtful. Between the stunning decor of the Financial District location and the top-tier service from staff like Naome, this has easily become my go-to hotel in downtown Chicago. Highly recommended!
I don't do many 5-star reviews, but this is deserving. All the interactions with staff were wonderful -- they treat you right. The room was spacious and had all the amenities you need. Great bed, bath, wifi, etc. The location is great -- from O'Hare the Blue Line drops you off one block away. And, walking to all the loop sites is easy. Every little thing is taken care of -- I just felt so pampered.
I stayed at the LaSalle Chicago for four nights while working at the Willis Tower. The hotel was very clean, elegant, and quiet, with a spacious, well-appointed room. I particularly enjoyed the Lavazza espresso machine for in-room coffee, and the hotel was generous with the coffee pods. The dining options were also quite good. Overall, I had a very nice experience and would definitely stay there again.
My recent stay at the hotel over the weekend was, overall, an excellent experience. While there was a small hiccup upon arrival—my room wasn’t ready when I checked in at 4:10 PM, despite the stated 3:00 PM check-in time—the situation was handled exceptionally well.
Naome at reception truly made all the difference. She took immediate ownership of the issue, communicated clearly, and ensured everything was resolved smoothly and efficiently. In an era where the service industry can often feel increasingly impersonal, Naome stands out as a shining example of how hospitality should be done. Her professionalism and care turned what could have been a frustrating start into a positive experience.
Once settled, the rest of my stay was seamless and thoroughly enjoyable. The accommodations, amenities, and overall atmosphere were top-notch.
I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others—especially knowing that staff like Naome are there to make things right when it matters most.
It was beautiful, comfortable, location was also nice but the banks all around did disrupt GPS a lot (not the hotels fault). The staff is very friendly and nice, had breakfast at the hotel and it was great.
Unfortunately parking is hard and expensive to come by, I ended up having to valet park. The valet parking was excellent and very fast every time, it’s just an added expense to keep in mind because of the location.
The cleanliness and room decor.
Parking
Stayed here for business and we LOVED it! Everyone kept saying how comfortable their beds were. Loved the comfortable bedding, spacious deluxe room and loved the bath amenities and snack variety.
Truly super luxurious, super clean and the hospitality was incredible. Definitely will be our chicago go-to hotel! Highly recommend.
The LaSalle rooms are nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. My room had every amenity you would need, including bathrobe, premium coffee maker, toiletries, water bottles and everything else you would expect. The bathroom and shower were nicely sized with double sinks, separate toilet and large shower. There was also a stocked mini bar which I didn’t use.
I had a room facing out, but only a view of the office building next door. Some rooms appear to face in.to s courtyard. The room was quiet, no issues with noise. There was also plenty of closet and drawer space.
Front desk check in was welcoming. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy, refreshing water and coffee daily. There is also a nightly turndown service.
We had a very nice dinner at the 21 restaurant. The food was very tasty, service attentive, and seating was comfortable, although overall a bit pricey. I also took advantage of the complementary grab and go breakfast which was adequate with yogurt and fruit. They were also supposed to have pastry but it wasn’t there when I went to get my breakfast.
We were in walking distance to downtown so we’re fine without a car and didn’t need to take too many Ubers to get where we needed to be.
I would recommend the LaSalle and would select this hotel again if I were to return to Chicago.
The decor was lovely. Most of the staff was friendly
After my husband showered, there was 2" of standing water in the shower. We had to get going, so I had to shower in the puddle! Also, the remote control for the tv stopped working late in the night and we couldn't change the channel. We only had on/off and volume control.
Great location and cool design. Gerin at the bar made the best French75. He was awesome.
After multiple calls and requests we could not get housekeeping or service to our room. For what we paid for an executive suite, it was disappointing that we couldn’t get housekeeping at all.
