Cheap, very good value, great location if you want to stay close to the airport, and the receptionist lady was very friendly and positive
The rooms are not very private
The location being a 10-15 minute taxi (30 COP} to the airport. Lovely quiet, safe neighborhood but just 4 blocks from a busy nightlife area full of restaurants and bars. The bed was comfortable and the shower had Hot water. $35 Canadian a night is great value. Brian is also a great polite Host who speaks some English. Its great for a stayover for a night or two when you have an early morning flight.
Its a converted home with 3 separate apartments on the 2nd floor. I like to have a private entrance so i can come and go at whatever time i please. I went out for Brunch at about 12:30 pm and told Brian i would be out for a few hours. But when i returned you have to ring a doorbell at his gated house. It took about 15 minutes for Brian to open the door because i woke him up from an afternoon nap. Lucky it wasn't raining. He does his best to service his guests but explained he alone is the 24 hr reception for his guests but he needs to sleep when he gets a chance.
The location is great - safe part of the city, 2 blocks away from a busy street with a lot of restaurants but quiet at night, relatively near to the airport - 10-20 minutes drive. Mattress was comfee - not rock hard like those in most economy hostels. The couple who ran it were very helpful and kind. They arranged my early morning cab to the airport.
The rooms, at least on the lower floor have no windows and ventilation is poor. My room was freshly painted and unfortunately the smell got to me during the night. Thankfully I had been loaned a fan by the managers and I was able to air out my room using the fan in the open door. I think that was the only room with that issue.
Do not book here - it is a scam! We booked weeks in advance and they had no problem taking our money, but they never answered our calls leading up to our stay. When we showed up for our reservation, the hotel was closed and we couldn’t get into our room. We tried calling multiple times but, once again, they never answered. They wouldn’t even answer Expedia’s calls. Don’t book unless you want to end up stranded with no room and out your original booking amount.

I wish I could give negative grades to this location. Expedia ought to remove it from the places it offers. It is well below any expectations.

The staff, clean, ordered, and 24 hours
It is a house converted into a multi room motel. The entrance is non existent. No signage or indication to where you need to go. You can’t access the property without having to ring a bell and wait for someone to open the main gate.
The reception is a tiny space in the front garage area - very rudimentary. The lobby is a place i wouldn’t want to hang around for long.
Room was very small, no windows or fans, with tv with hanging cables and connections. Bathroom was incredibly small and shower was tiny. - again with no ventilation, fan or airflow whatsoever.
Very disappointed as the room photos were quite nice but the double one I got was nothing like that. I ended up only staying there for a few hours and went to stay elsewhere. Didnt spend the night in the hotel.
Can’t comment on breakfast as i didn’t eat there but now looking at reviews I’m glad I didn’t.

super close to the airport and lots of shops, restaurants close by. also the staff were very friendly.
it wasn’t the cleanest. the bathroom had hair in the shower and there was a dirty towel left on the floor.
The main suite was ok.
You can't eat something in your room, u less you hide it. You can't roll your luggage because it damage the floor. You can hear everything from other rooms.
Everything was awesome, very calm to take a good rest. I just passed a great stay there, and also the Staff was very attentive and the room very clean.
I enjoyed it and I highly recommend it.
