Definitive luxury Rekjavik experience
Pros:

Incredible location - amazing views - fantastic restaurant - great access to the city

Valet parking was efficient and convenient - worth the price.

Beds were very comfortable.

Helpful and friendly staff. Welcome gift drink for anniversary was a lovely gesture.

Cons:

The breakfast was extremely expensive for a family, free breakfast for kids would be a nice touch - they usually only want a bowl of cereal.

The lighting in the rooms was overly atmospheric and not that useful. Theres a lot of furniture in the room and they aren't that big so things went missing and were hard to find. An overhead light for these situations would be an improvement.

The cups in the in room hot drink station were not appropriate for tea drinkers.

pokoj nie byl zupelnie przygotowany dla 3 osob (brak lozka, recznikow, kosmetykow itp). Przylecielismy o polnocy (hotel byl powiadomiony), do 2 w nocy trwalo zamieszanie i reorganizacja pokoju tak by zmiescilo sie dodatkowe lozko. Podkreslam, ze nie byl to standardowy pokoj z dostawke tylko apartament przeznaczony dla 3 osob. Jako rekompensate obieecano nam darmowe sniadanie w pierwszy dzien

Das Zimmer war für eine Familie nicht gross genug. Die beiden Betten waren knapp 140cm breit und somit für zwei Erwachsene definitiv zu klein.

Very nice hotel but too expensive for what it’s worth
Pros:

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during our time in Iceland. It was a nice, modern, stylish hotel with very good facilities. The rooms were spacious, stylish and well equipped. We found the spa very enjoyable after a day of sight seeing. The location is perfect with just a short walk to all of Reykjaviks main sights, restaurants and bars. I think it’s a great place to base yourself in Reykjavik and a very good standard hotel with a nice luxury finish.

Cons:

The reason we score this property 7 rather than higher is we just found it a lot more expensive than it’s worth. We felt it was not good value for money even compared to other hotels in our Iceland stay. I understand Iceland is expensive but this was considerably more expensive than some of our other hotels which were equal if not better on standard. I think it’s not worth this money and whilst a nice stay I would look elsewhere next time I visit.

Staðsetningin var fullkomin, rétt hjá Hörpu þar sem við sóttum tónleika. Starfsfólkið var einstaklega lipurt. Lounge á neðstu hæð var dásamlega notalegt. Við slepptum hefðbundnum morgunmat en kíktum í staðinn á Rvk Roasters sem er inni á hótelinu og þar var allt upp á 10!
