Clean, modern hotel with everything you’d need. Friendly staff. Well maintained pool and hot tub facilities. Welcome drink at the bar on weekdays. Tasty breakfast and option for dining at other meals.
They triple charged me!!!
Charged me 3 times
From the moment we walked in the door our family was impressed with the hotel. Decor is modern and fun, amenities were exceptional including games around the common areas and the morning fresh breakfast was so good!
The morning weekend staff could use more help it seems to help, but we didn’t mind. Staff was always helpful and friendly.
Drinks and snacks at the bar in the afternoon were great and swimming pool area was great and relaxing.
Fold out her in the room was very uncomfortable - needs replacing L.
Beautiful hotel
My AC went out in my room the second day and I was blamed for not notifying staff earlier in the day even after explaining to them I wasn’t there until after 9 pm and I notified them as soon as I realized it wasn’t coming on.
The staff was very friendly, and the place was very clean. The front desk and the evening cook and waitress was very friendly and very helpful and outgoing.
our toilet wouldn’t flush half the time and the back door to our hall. I found open several times you had to keep pulling that shit and then several gates you had to pull shut. They were not closed so it was not totally secure at all times I did not like that I could not pay cash for my room that I had to use my credit card, but I could pay cash for my food. Did not understand that. The cook in the morning was very rude. When you try to ask her questions. She was very snappy and let you know real quick that this is all she has and this is all she’s going to do and the only thing I was trying to do was ask how can I get my eggs cooked
Breakfast, bar area, pool were awesome
Trash cans in the rooms beside the small one in the bathroom
Only 3 years old, the hotel lobby was beautifully decorated while the room was minimalist which was perfect as far as we were concerned. The mattress and pillows were wonderful, very comfortable. They didn't use the standard window unit for heat and air which is always loud and really not ideal; there was what seemed to be a small unit in the wall that worked perfectly and didn't keep one awake with noise. Good products provided in the bathroom and everything was spotlessly clean. Probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in in a long time.
Honestly, my one and only complaint was the breakfast and, since it was free, unlike some hotels, I guess I shouldn't complain. The breakfast room was nicely done and offered 2 types of sliced bread, bagels and English muffins; my partner said he had a sweet muffin when he got coffee earlier but they were gone. Also fresh fruit, apples and if there were bananas, they were gone when we got there. Also several spreads for bagels or muffins. We went down to eat about a half hour before they closed and one item had already been taken off the menu board so go early. The choices at that time were a breakfast sandwich and French Toast. This is not a buffet, you order at the counter, so I opted for the French Toast and chicken sausage which was offered on the breakfast sandwich. I got one small, thin slice of conventional bagged bread made into French toast and 1 sausage patty that had been cooked in the microwave so less than appetizing appearance. However both tasted good and, since I was still hungry and looking at a long day, I toasted a bagel and spread it with peanut butter. I would suggest that 2 slices of toast would be more appropriate and while browned sausage would improve the appearance, I understand they probably don't have the facilities for that.
Location.
I love that the location was close to so many things there in Waco. It was very clean. The staff was courteous. I also liked the variety of items for breakfast
Great facility, breakfast, happy hour, and staff. Easy to get in and out, good location. Large room and comfortable bed.
No complaints.
