Heerlijk genoten!
Pros:

De locatie was heel fijn! Direct aan het strand en op loopafstand ook leuke andere restaurantjes en een marktje. HEt eten bij het restaurant was heerlijk, maar er was dus ook de mogelijkheid om om de hoek op het strand te eten, wat enorm gezellig was.
Heel veel dank naar het personeel, die waren zo ontzettend vriendelijk en lief. Ook zeer veel aandacht naar onze kinderen.

Cons:

De kamer was een beetje verouderd, maar lekker ruim voor ons als gezin.

Cons:

the road to the hotel is scary with dirty markers and constant approaches from merchants to hustle you for money. The poor English was a constant challenge. Western style menu was poorly researched and often odd. The beach is so average and overrated.

Perfect place to stay in Zanzibar.
Pros:

Perfect location with private beach beds overlooking the ocean. The staff are very helpful and responsive. Beautiful sunset views and stunning ocean views from the rooms.

Hotel misafirleri için çevrelenmiş ve tertemiz bir plajı vardı, otel odaları çok temiz ve tertipli.

A tired hotel, stuck in the 80s with great staff and location but no sign of management

But that’s where it en ends, Manage your expectations as after writing a mail to the owner (as there is clearly no sign of any management on site) he responded that the hotel could not meet mine.
When you are paying higher than most for a hotel room you do expect certain amenities and standards, Perhaps if it were your 1st time coming from Europe then you may be happy with what you receive and when comparable to European pricing yes it’s a fair price for the standard, however when you have spent time in in Africa, you will realize that other hotels do a lot better and strive for more. The owners response was arrogant and dismissive to the points I raised.
Here we go and perhaps see for yourself but there is a lot better hotels for less money nearby.
The building, furniture and rooms are clean but very tired, Wooden railings around pool are rotten and loose, needs major investment.
Restaurant, Staff very attentive but Poor, poor coffee from coffee station, breakfast menu appeared to be designed by a child and in today day and age with spell check and AI there is no excuse, every guest around me had to ask for explanations as to items. Most Plates were chipped however I was told in writing “Our tableware was renewed at the beginning of the year. As they are ceramic items, the patterns may sometimes give the appearance of light marks” Music was at times not suitable for time and venue, I know the difference between gangster rap and Afro beats and enjoy Afro Beats and Afro house myself but to be told “First of all, the music you referred to as gangster rap is actually known as Afrobeat” in the week I was there I only saw on live entertainer however he claims they have 2-3 times per week. Avocados on the menu but not available and yet at the stalls all down the road they are selling lovely avocadoes.
Rooms, Clean and tidy, Towels are threadbare, 3 requests to get toilet to flush, once to housekeeping twice to reception, Dismissed. Room

Tutto sommato un bel soggiorno
Pros:

Senza dubbio il punto forte della struttura è il personale, sempre gentile e disponibile, molto accogliente, rende la permanenza molto piacevole; buona la posizione , di fianco alla zona più popolata di Nungwi , buono anche il ristorante

La struttura però appare tenuta non benissimo, le camere un po’ vecchie, pochissimo spazio tra armadio e porta del bagno, condizionatore che perdeva e che non funzionava quasi mai, pulizia delle camera che lasciava un po’ a desiderare. Pesa l’assenza della spiaggia, si può prendere il sole su una terrazza solarium di legno, molto bella, però il caldo la rende asfissiante.

le stanze erano pulite ed abbastanza grandi. i generatori hanno lavorato parecchio per ovviare ai cali di corrente, limitando pero l'uso dell'aria condizionata

The rooms were nice but the bathrooms need to be restored and the wardrobe needs to be replaced with a decent one!
