Overall great boutique style overnight stay

Sadly Overrated in Cranbrook
Pros:

Decent bed and at least the room was clean

Cons:

Overrated very basic room, other guests opened our door a half hour after we checked in, no glasses in the room and none to be had, older "tired" basic furnishings with 1 small table and chair, locked out after 10 pm and after hours service was to leave a voice-mail, cleaning staff barged in the next morning even though the DND sign was out and we were still there!

Great value for a place with character, sandwiched between a great pub and a sushi restaurant.

Perfect location, cool historical vibe.

A comfortable stay in a renovated old hotel.
Pros:

Centrally located. Old historic hotel. Restaurants located close by friendly service. Available free parking. The rooms were very comfortable and decorated tastefully.

Cons:

The USB-C connecter did not work.

Not the quietest place to stay.
Pros:

The property was in a good location downtown.

Cons:

The hotel is above a bar so be prepared to be woken up when the bar lets out in the middle of the night. You also hear the beep of the crosswalk all night long. Although the room had been newly renovated there was a definite slant in several spots on the floor.
There was also a problem with our booking reservation and they tried to charge us again.

Wouldn’t go back, too much noise from adjacent bar.

There is a bar right behind the hotel. The music went til well after 3am…we didn’t sleep either night. Left feeling like we needed another vacation instead of the restful vacation we were looking for.

Comfortable boutique hotel, bed was great, loved the confort and feel of the sheets and pillows. Bar right downstairs for food and drink!!!

Miserable
Cons:

Kept awake in the middle of the night by singing fighting and attempts to force entry into the hotel . No response from the hotel/staff. Unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
