This hotel has potential, but it is currently a long way from the quality and guest experience expected from the Hilton
Pros:

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while I wanted to enjoy my stay, the experience fell far short of the quality and customer service associated with the Hilton brand.
1. Poor Check-in Experience:
The check-in process was frustratingly long. The receptionist was unprofessional, and I had to argue with her regarding my booking. Despite my reservation clearly including breakfast, she insisted otherwise until she finally checked the system again and found it was indeed included.
2. Data Security and Privacy Breach:
This is the most concerning part of my stay. My personal data appears to have been leaked, as I received a sophisticated phishing message targeting my reservation. To make matters worse, the hotel’s Wi-Fi is completely open with no password protection, which is a major security risk in this day and age. I sent an email to management reporting these issues, but I have yet to receive any response. This lack of accountability regarding guest privacy is unacceptable.
3. Room Size and Housekeeping Issues:
The room was extremely small. Furthermore, housekeeping failed to clean our room or replace towels after the first night. We had to personally go to the reception the following day to request basic cleaning and fresh towels.
4. Maintenance and Ventilation Failures:
The air conditioning in the room was not working. Additionally, there is no ventilation system (exhaust fan) in the bathroom, causing steam to soak the walls and spread into the bedroom area. To vent the room, we had to keep the windows open. As a result, mosquitoes entered the room, and I was bitten multiple times, leading to a very poor night's sleep.
5. Dining Experience:
The dining area is pleasant, and the chef was very service-oriented. However, the food variety is very limited, and there is always a long queue at the coffee machines, which are incredibly slow.

Amazing Hotel. Incredible People.
Pros:

As amazing as the hotel was, the staff took the experience to another level!

When we arrived, we were a little hesitant as it seemed to be outside of the popular area, but we needn’t have worried about that! For us, the location was perfect. About a 20 minute walk from the acropolis, but only 5 minutes from bars and restaurants of our choice.

The hotel itself was amazing! Very clean, very comfortable, the breakfast was way above what we expected, and it just felt like a treat.

However, we could get that feeling in many hotels. What made this stand out was the staff! They could not have been more attentive to us. From a glass of bubbly on arrival, readily supporting any requests we had (extra pillow and ironing board), to secretly arranging to sing Happy Birthday to my wife! (Special shout out to Stamatis for that one!) But what really stood out was this was more than customer service, it felt as though they had a genuine interest in us. They were all super polite, and seemed pleased to see us.

I have never received such wonderful and sincere service before, and would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Cons:

If I’m being really picky - it would be the hot tub. It was quite small and tricky to relax in. I appreciate I’m 6’ 2” so a bit taller than some - so just an observation rather than a complaint.

Pros:

The beds are very confortable, the breakfast was delicious. Having a pool for enjoying the sun after a day in the city is great. But what made our stay the best was the crew. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice, from the minute we arrived. Highly recommend.
