Aeolian Village Beach Resort

Mark Warner holiday in Lesvos was not as described, lacking many of the activities advertised and then had huge issues trying to complain with no one bothering to reply to my complaints and loosing my emails. I have been told on 2 occasions that the complaint had been logged but it was not possible to speak to anyone but it would be dealt with in 28 days. Very disappointed all round as I had great expectations of my much needed post cancer holiday and not even having a response has continued to leave a bad taste. We also never received the photos we paid for from their on site photography business partner which I was promised would be followed up by Mark Warner.
The hotel itself was good but let down very badly but my experience with the tour operator.

Everything, starting by Aphrodite’s warm welcome. Everyone is lovely and the facilities amazing. I stayed in a spacious yellow house

Excellent family, group or couples holiday. Our first Jet2 experience after years of specialist sporting holidays and we were not disappointed. We were well looked after by the hotel staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The restaurant offered a wide range of delicious local and international cuisine, its setting under tree canopies along a terrace made the evenings feel very special and the beach bar is a perfect spot for ‘sundowners’.
Our suite had fabulous views and ample space for bikes, we took our own and made the most of exploring the local monasteries, towns and museums. The hotel sports facilities included a gym, shared access to fitness classes for all abilities and other activities were available as described in the brochure. Though we didn’t try them the tennis and padel courts looked fun and well maintained. When paired with a large adult pool with separated children’s area, ample sun loungers and a hotel beach/waterfront, the Aeolian Village caters well for all.
The gardens were a beautiful surprise especially when lit at night, the whole atmosphere was tranquil, safe and friendly. We especially liked the mixture of locals and other nationalities which gave the ambiance a cosmopolitan, true holiday feel.
For those who like to explore, Skalia the bustling local resort town offers multiple seafront restaurants, bars and is well worth a visit for evening night life or afternoon gentle strolls, not to mention the local Turtles!
All in all, the Aeolian Village is a resort we would love to revisit.

Another great stay at Aeolian village, a huge shout out to all the staff for going above and beyond to ensure guests have an enjoyable stay. The beach is located a short stroll from the hotel; the sun beds and parasols are all very well maintained, adding to the overall comfort and relaxation guests experience by the pool or on the beach. Standards are exceptionally high, thanks to Chef George for his outstanding food and his hardworking staff, Christina, Paola, Irini who consistently produce delicious and beautifully presented food. The Restaurant staff, Maria, Gabriel, George, Angelus, Daphne, Elpine and the Restaurant Manager Nectarios. The Reception Staff Manager Stratoula, Aphrodite and Maria. The Hotel Managers Andreas and Andreas; our cleaning Lady Zamira, the beach Dorothya and the wider teams (all the catering, front of house, receptionist, gardeners, bar staff). Everyone works hard to make it a most enjoyable stay. The hotel's spa services are also very good, offering a range of treatments to help guests unwind and rejuvenate. Overall, this hotel provides a perfect blend of comfort, making it an ideal destination for a memorable holiday.
My recent experience at Aeolian Village was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that every member of staff is dedicated to making each guest feel welcome and thoroughly looked after. The hotel's beach is merely a pleasant stroll from the main building, making it incredibly accessible. The sun beds and parasols are meticulously maintained, which adds immensely to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation—whether you're lounging by the pool or unwinding by the sea.
The standards here are exceptional, particularly when it comes to dining. Chef George deserves special recognition for his consistently outstanding cuisine, supported by his talented team Christina, Paola, and Irini who serve up mouth-watering dishes, always beautifully presented. The restaurant staff Maria, Gabriel, George, Angelus, Daphne, Elpine, and Restaurant Manager Nectarios are unfailingly attentive and friendly, elevating every meal into a memorable occasion.
Special mention also to Reception Staff Manager Stratoula, as well as Aphrodite and Maria, for their friendly and efficient service from check-in to departure. The Hotel Managers, both named Andreas, are ever-present and approachable, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Our cleaner Zamira, the beach attendant Dorothya, and all the wider teams catering, front of house, receptionists, gardeners, and bar staff whom all work tirelessly to make our stay special.
In summary, Aeolian Village delivers an ideal blend of luxury and comfort. It's a place where meticulous attention to detail and genuine hospitality combine to create a holiday experience that's truly unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway.
