A good solid hotel with everything you need at a good price.
Pros:

I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express elsewhere in Belgium, so I knew what to expect. It's a good solid hotel chain that delivers a good room and good facilities, including a small hotel bar. The staff were helpful and pleasant (as a baseline) to extremely nice. The location is good (more or less across the road from the opera house) if you are travelling by train, as I was, but close to main shopping areas but a little further distant from the historic town centre and museums.

Cons:

The breakfast was adequate but not exceptional but the main thing that would have improved my stay would have been some sort of restaurant facility - I really struggled to find somewhere to eat on the first night.

Modern hotel in city center
Pros:

Everything new and confortable. The location excellent

Cons:

The breakfast was a bit slow. The place is pricy but it's because Antwerp is pricy.
