We stayed at several hotels with the breakfast included as part of our trip and Hotel Saga was among the best. Excellent, tasty selection of hot and cold foods, yogurt, fruits, pastries and beverages..10/10!
Outlets didn't match our travel adapters and had to go out to buy one at night after long day of travel. Also would be a nice touch to include a bottle / wine opener in the room. Sometimes you just want to sit in your and look out the balcony with a glass of wine or a beer.
Great location, very clean and comfortable room, pleasant and helpful staff. Centrally located and located close to major attractions. Highly recommended. Great outdoor space on the roof too!

The hotel did a lot to make our stay special by giving us a room with a balcony and a super view of the lake :) We even saw the aurora (spectacularly!) from the balcony on one of the evenings over the lake! The breakfast was absolutely first-rate and the dinners in the hotel were delicious.
Heating in the room was not working properly. They brought us a fan heater though.
Our stay at Hotel Reykjavík Saga was absolutely amazing. The room was clean, quiet, and surprisingly spacious, and being in the oldest part of the complex made the experience feel even more special.
The shower had great water pressure (always a win after long days out), and everything in the room felt well-maintained and comfortable.
The complimentary breakfast was consistently top tier. The daily smoothie was a standout, and there was a huge variety—everything from eggs to homemade cinnamon rolls and more. The coffee was also very good, which we appreciated.
The location is unbeatable—truly walkable to everything. We were able to easily walk to Lava Show and explore the city without needing transportation. There’s also plenty of street parking available nearby, which made things easy.
Highly recommend—would absolutely stay here again.
There was not an elevator in the old part of the building but the stairs were sturdy and ornate.

Hvergi hægt að fá bílastæði nálægt hóteli, þurftum að leggja bíl langt frá. Wi-fi tengdist aldrei inn á herbergi en datt svo inn a símann niðri í matsal um leið.

L’établissement est beau à l’intérieur c’est très moderne, grand chambre très moderne et confortable.
Le spa inclut juste le sauna et hammam mais pendant mon séjour c’était que sauna qui était disponible.
