Pros:

The location was perfect - walking distance to all the sights. The breakfast was excellent - great selection and quality. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were helpful.

Cons:

I was given a room at the back of the hotel, and the receptionist said it would be quiet, as there wouldn’t be much traffic on the back street. Actually, there was quite a bit of traffic, including city and tour buses. Also, the blackout curtains on the window near the bathroom let in quite a bit of light through gaps between them and the window frames (I was staying in June, during the midnight sun).

Pros:

Perfect location, selected the more spacious room and were pleased with its comfort.

Cons:

An explanation from staff that key card slots turn on lights etc. an explanation that roomkey reader is black and above door handle as hallways are very dark
, door is dark and reader is dark color.

Lovely small hotel with central location
Pros:

Lovely hotel in a central, but quiet location. The staff were quite welcoming and helpful. We will stay here again on our next trip to Reykjavik.

Great stay in Reyjavik
Pros:

Great staff, our room was amazing, enjoyed the breakfast. I went to the spa and worked out and took a sauna, it was very clean and nice.

Lovely property and excellent location!
Pros:

This was a wonderful hotel. Just the right size - not too big and not too small. The staff were excellent and the hotel was in pristine condition from the moment you walked
In the door. The room was an excellent size! Lots of amenities in the room. The breakfast Buffett was well worth it as well! Everything was fresh and delicious.

Cons:

I was unhappy the steam room was out of order. Otherwise, perfect stay.

Modernes Stadthotel ohne Heizung
Pros:

Sehr schönes, modernes Hotel zentral gelegen. Man kann alles zentral zu Fuß erreichen. Zimmer groß und gut ausgestattet. Wir konnten bereits sehr früh ins Hotel einchecken. Gepäckaufbewahrung beim Check-out.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war kalt, um einiges kälter als der Gang davor. Nachfrage an der Rezeption hat ergeben, dass es keine Heizung gibt. Wir sollten den Heizkörper im Bad (Handtuch-Heizkörper) aufdrehen und die Tür ins Zimmer öffnen. Dann würde es schon wärmer werden; sie sind ein grünes Hotel, deswegen gibt es keine Heizung, nur AC. Ich fand das etwas unlogisch, warum dann AC aber keine Heizung? Das einzige was sie haben, ist ein Radiator - ist der denn wirklich passend zu einem grünen Hotel? Den könnten wir haben, aber erstmal sollten wir das mit dem Badheizkörper versuchen. Ich fühlte mich etwas überrumpelt, und es klang so, als ob uns nicht geglaubt wird. Der Badheizkörper hat nicht wirklich geholfen, es blieb recht frisch im Zimmer. Schade, das hat den Eindruck getrübt.
