Would definitely recommend.
Pros:

Art deco building was a lovely step back in time especially the history of the property (previously Airforce Officers Quarters during the war )
Staff were so welcoming and their attention to detail most gratifying. Meals were very good and rooms very clean and comfortable.

Interesting charm.
Pros:

Nice idea for retro experience. Old world charm. Rooms are fitted out nicely. Good facilities, especially bathrooms. Easy road access from Springs Road or Wigram shopping.

Cons:

It was windy and noise was high with rattles. Sound travels quite some distance with older building. My room was next to the bar, so a steady bass made an early night not possible.

Pros:

离基督城机场很近，房间很干净也很大，早餐非常优秀，所以预定的时候要加上，酒店就在飞机博物馆的对面，走路过去就能顺便玩了，总之一切都非常好很满意。

Nice quiet location. Very helpful staff. Easy car drive from the city, shopping centres, etc.
Pros:

Location was great for us as close to the airport and a quick drive into the city. Nice quiet area. Staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Room looked to be newly decorated. Extremely comfy beds. Lots of parking.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind.

The Wigram is a wonderful size hotel with a real Art Deco 'feel good' vibe!
Pros:

I liked the updated yet restrained Art Deco inspired decor of the hotel; and the brilliant no-expenses spared treatment of the bathroom with huge press-button circular lighting and the deep bath.

Cons:

I feel the bar on the ground floor could do with a little more atmosphere and oomph, and the brass work on the side door could do with some love with a bit of polishing! Also I'm guessing the outdoor courtyard is still a work in progress.

Staff we met were excellent, good food and good location.
Pros:

The few staff members we met "face to face" were excellent, they were warm, polite, helpful and hardworking. The room was well appointed and had all the functional necessities. The Hotel was in a good location for access to/from Christchurch City Centre, Train Station and airport. The restaurant food was very good with a good selection of beverages.

Cons:

Basic WiFi did keep disconnecting. Some basic written instructions on devices and controls ie air-con and the bathroom heated floor would be helpful.

Gutes Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Christchurch
Pros:

Gutes Hotel am Stadtrand von Christchurch. Einrichtung etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber noch okay. Bequemes Bett. Sehr gutes Frühstück!

Cons:

Leider gibt es keinen Aufzug.

Pros:

Beautiful old building! Was an Air Force officers mess converted to a hotel. Very nicely remodeled. Comfortable room. All the staff were warm & welcoming. Close to the airport for our departure the next morning.
