Everything was perfect! Very nice central located hotel. Comfortable rooms. Special attitude to the guests. Very polite staff. Excellent breakfast. And parking.

A peaceful location overlooking the park while remaining just a short tram ride or pleasant walk from Amsterdam’s main attractions. The staff delivered genuinely warm, attentive, and highly professional service, making every interaction feel personal and effortless. The private spa was a wonderful treat.

From start to finish a trip to remember. The intentionality to design, service, and hospitality exceeded our expectations. From check in with Sam to the room tour with Geanette to the cocktail experience with Marta the entire staff was wonderful.

First time at a Pillows property. Rare combination of impeccable quality and courteous, friendly service. This began before entering the front of the property and did not end until the door to our car was closed. Always felt comfortable and warm (not just the weather) no matter the time of the day. Location not in the middle of things, but close enough to get on the Metro to go to the museums or wherever. And it was nice to always come back to the quiet, even serene feeling of Pillows. There is a bar, Fitz’s, in the hotel. Excellent place for a nightcap. Easy to recommend. Takeaway - will continue to look for Pillows properties wherever our adventures may lead us.

10/10. Exceptional property. Pristine, with sincere, genuinely helpful happy staff who love their city and authentically care for their guests. Concierge team rivals that of Aman, bedding and pillows are preferred to that of The Four Seasons— soft Egyptian cotton. The towels were also nice.

Location was perfect for being close to transit (with bikes and e-bikes available from the hotel) while being away from the over tourism in the city core. Amsterdam is a small city about 4cm end to end.

Get the breakfast included. Air conditioning is strong and works well. The rooms are bright and comfortable with Diptyque personal products. Lighting was good, room service was fast. Get a room with a bathtub— it’s large and very well done.

Overall we cannot provide a higher review for this hardworking staff and gorgeous property. It’s a quality establishment.

Beautiful hotel, so welcoming, so luxurious, incredibly quiet, had a wonderful stay. The staff are very helpful and polite. Hotel is super clean, smells lovely, beds are really comfortable, had the best sleep. Location is convenient for trams etc. Hotel also provides bicycles if you want to use those.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, but Pillows Grand Boutique Hotel Maurits at the Park is genuinely special. From the second I walked in, it just felt right. Moving forward, this is officially the only place I’ll be staying whenever I'm in Amsterdam.

The whole vibe of the property is incredibly grounding and hits all the right notes:
The look: It’s a gorgeous historic building right on the edge of Oosterpark. The design inside is clean, modern, and flooded with natural light, but still feels warm and intimate.

The scent: The first thing you notice when you walk through the doors is this amazing, subtle signature scent. It’s crisp and calming—instantly makes you take a deep breath and relax after a long flight.

The feel: They clearly didn't skimp on quality. The fabrics in the lounge are plush, and the bed sheets are ridiculously soft. It feels like a high-end private residence rather than a hotel.

The sound & taste: It’s incredibly quiet and peaceful inside, even with the park right there. And the coffee and food on-site are fantastic.

The location is perfect if you want to experience the city without being trapped in the noisy, chaotic tourist traps. Being right on Oosterpark gives you a beautiful, green neighborhood feel, but it’s still highly accessible. You can hop on a nearby tram and be anywhere in the city center or museum district in just a few minutes.

What really blew me away, though, was the staff. They are so warm and genuinely
friendly. They constantly went above and beyond to look after me, noticing the little things without being overbearing. It felt less like standard hotel customer service and more like being welcomed back by people who genuinely care about your stay.

Highly recommend this place if you want a beautiful, relaxed, and incredibly comfortable stay. I’m already counting down to my next trip back.

Our stay at Pillows was excellent. The room was perfect, the beds slept well. We had dinner at Van Oost, I could recommend everyone to eat there if your staying at Pillows. The food, the vibe and the waiters were amazing. Thank you Pillows.

Best hotel I have ever stayed at! The staff is really attentive and genuinely kind. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the location is ideal. It offers a peaceful setting surrounded by a lovely park, while still being just a short journey from all the major attractions by public transport.

I love this hotel. The location is perfect. It was an easy walk into Amsterdam but so nice not to be in the middle of the crowds. My room overlooked a beautiful park. It was so calm and relaxing. The hotel is beautiful, the interior design is lovely. My room was spacious with plenty of storage, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The room on the first floor where you can relax and have drinks is so nice and peaceful. Breakfast was good and overlooked the park. The staff here is amazing. They are so friendly and nice. The concierge team is so helpful, I loved their recommendations.

Can’t recommend this hotel enough, the staff is absolutely amazing. Started with a welcoming from Chris at the entrance, then Louise and Ava at the front office did our check in and answered all our questions and lastly the concierge Sam helped us with recommending things to do in Amsterdam.
We had dinner at VanOost, drinks at Fitz’s and breakfast at Brasserie Spring. All experiences were great! Definitely will be back in the future.

Great room, great vibe, & great food/cocktails! You never even have to leave the building to have a great time.

In a quiet part of Amsterdam, near a tram stop to center city, rest your head on a soft, tender Pillow at this Boutique Hotel. The rooms are small, but cozy and the bath was modern , sparkling, and the linens were delicious. Elegant breakfast- the continental offered salmon, delicious cheese and satisfying breads. A lovely , vast park and gardens are adjacent for a casual stroll and the guest inly living room lounge offers a quiet place to relax, enjoy a tea or a beverage before retiring for the night or while waiting for friends to swing by and visit. Staff is responsive and courteous. Easy access by walking or hire drive, safe and luxurious setting. We will return.

The hotel is a beautifully repurposed medical college with large windows and the rear of the property melds directly into Ooster Park giving a delicious garden vibe. The staff is exceptionally well trained and attentive. The food and beverage is tops including a 5 star restaurant, Vanoost, with a unique and sublime menu. The room furnishings and appointment exude understated luxery and elegance.

Best hotel in Amsterdam, so beautiful! Hospitality is amazing, they treat you like a queen! 10/10 so clean, so good!
