A modern, luxury hotel on one of the great beaches of Halkidiki. Fresh, spotless clean, comfortable and very relaxing. The rooms are very spacious with unpararel views, amazing bathrooms and if you book one of those with the private pool, then you are for a great holiday. Worth trying Kyma restaurant with a mouthwatering menu, especially for the seafood lovers and exceptional service.
Great hotel, nice rooms designed, big and got a swimming pool it was vert enjoining . The service was very good the food was great
I stayed at the hotel in July and overall had a very good experience. The facilities are excellent, the beach is beautiful and well organized, and the buffet was truly rich with a great variety and quality. The spa & massage facilities are also impressive. The staff were always extremely polite and very helpful, something i really appreciated.
However, there are two points that need improvement:
• Room cleaning was done rather hastily, without paying enough attention to some basic areas.
• The pricing policy did not feel very clear or consistent. Guests booking through agencies from neighboring countries seemed to get significantly better rates compared to individual direct bookings.
Additionally, when I asked for one extra night, I was offered a significantly higher rate than the one I was already paying, even though the hotel’s website showed the same lower rate (but with a minimum stay of 3 nights). I explained that I was already staying for more than 3 nights, but in the end, although they did give me a small discount, the final rate was still about €60 higher than what was advertised online.
Overall, this is a truly high-level hotel with excellent facilities and staff that deserves praise. With more attention to room cleaning and a fairer, more transparent pricing policy, the experience would be flawless.
Our 2nd Stay and Definitely Not the Last
Accommodation – Spacious, modern, and spotless rooms, furnished with style and functionality in mind.
Housekeeping – Daily cleaning with fresh towels and quality bathroom toiletries provided.
Restaurant – Excellent breakfast and dinner options with plenty of variety and beautifully presented dishes. Highly recommend choosing the half-board package.
Beach – Pristine and well-maintained, with fresh towels supplied daily by the hotel. Each morning, a dedicated team carefully cleaned and prepared the beach. The sunbeds were top-notch – spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxation.
Hotel Staff – Friendly, attentive, always smiling, and incredibly hardworking.
Overall, Ammoa continues to exceed expectations, and we are already looking forward to our next stay!
A lovely stay. Very good hotel. Good food, lovely beach and views. Friendly and very helpful staff. We would stay there again.
It's amazing! The staff is fantastic and very friendly, the food is excellent and menu is changing every day. The beach and the sea is super the sunbeads are comfortable, umbrellas are big, the sea is clean.
We had a great time with our one year old kid, and everything was suited to her. Playground, pools, baby chairs.
If I had to find one thing that could have been better, that is the coffee machines at breakfast, the coffee is a bit bland. But there was a Nespresso machine in the room so all good.
I hope I will come back.
You pay for what you get. The place was very nice but also pricey. It was worth the money and the service was exceptional. The beach is close, the pools are nice, the spa is beautiful. Even the restaurants on the property were nice
I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. What truly made the experience special was the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay.
Wonderful place!
Of all the places we visited, this hotel is the best!
Everything is more than perfect - the beach, the food, the service, the cleanliness, everything!
Very nice resort, well placed, has direct acces to the beach, also has 3 different size pools. spacios, clean, will all needed services for comfort and relaxation.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ammoa Hotel! The atmosphere is perfect for families — everything from the spacious, comfortable rooms to the beautiful pools and beach made our time unforgettable. The staff were always welcoming and attentive, making us feel at home throughout our stay. Our children loved the activities, while we enjoyed relaxing by the sea and exploring the resort. It was the perfect balance of fun, comfort, and relaxation. We can’t wait to return and create more memories here with our family. Highly recommended!
Everithing was very good exept temperature of water in pool which was very cold in open pools and also in pool in room.!!!
Everything was perfect. Beautiful beach, very comfortable rooms, very attentive staff always smiling! The food was very good quality . Eva at the kids club was amazing and a massage at the SPA is a must if you want to elevate your experience!
I loved it, will be back next year. The hotel staff were incredibly lovely to everybody, there to help with anything that is needed. Clean, tidy, positive energy, comfortable rooms, wifi available, food incredible.
We stayed in Ammoa for a week.
The location is amazing, next to a very nice beach, not crowded.
Breakfast options were huge! Also same for dinner buffet. Unfortunately, one of the restaurants mentioned in the website was not open, which restricts a bit the options, a greek taverna with normal prices is missing.
It looks like they need more cleaning staff for the rooms. Some days the room wasn't cleaned until late evening. Also, in some occasions it was apparent that some places were done in a hurry. However anything we pointed out to the reception staff they were more than happy to help and fix.
Also, the elevators in the main building were smelling a bit too much chlorine.
In the end, our goal was to fully relax for a week. And Ammoa is a great place for that. We were more than happy with our choice and we are considering coming again.
Feedback for possible next time:
- Seems like more cleaning staff is needed
- Please get a good barista for the coffee & better coffee beans.
- It would be great to have more trees around the pool, to dissipate heat and offer more shade.
Staff Attitude: 5/5
Location: Amazing 5/5
Food: 4.5/5 - Great options. Would prefer to have an a la carte restaurant as well.
Cost: 4/5 - A bit on the expensive side, but worth the cost
Cleaningness: 4/5 - Room seemed to be done in a hurry some days, and sometimes it was done very late.
We value the staff attitude on correcting any inconviniences a lot, and they were more than happy to receive feedback, fix any issue and make our stay better.
That reflects the 5/5 even though a couple shortcomings.
We are sure they will be even better next year with this mentality.
The most wonderful resort! The highlight for us was genuinely how lovely and welcoming all the staff were—especially Georgia, who was always so friendly and helpful to talk to. We honestly wish we could have stayed longer.
We came for my birthday, and my partner proposed to me here—it made the whole trip the most magical experience. From the private pool and the immaculately clean rooms, to the beautiful architecture and stunning beach, everything felt perfect.
The cocktails and pizza were amazing, and the Greek yogurt at breakfast and steak at dinner were genuinely better than most Michelin-starred restaurants we’ve been to. There’s also an incredible variety of activities to choose from, which made every day exciting.
We can’t wait to come back—it was truly unforgettable.
Very tasteful food, big and luxurious rooms, friendly staff! The hotel itself is beautiful and well mentained! I had a nice stay!
Takes you back to an era when people dress up for dinner in a high standards environment.
Stylish and good value for the luxury involved.
I stayed at the Ammoa Luxury Hotel & Spa Resort for 7 nights/half board from 27 July to 2 August 2025, expecting a luxury 5-star experience. Unfortunately, my stay was marred by repeated service failures, poor quality facilities, and substandard food and drink — all of which were far below the advertised standard.
Key issues included:
In-room facilities: Jacuzzi bath produced yellow water and sprayed black matter, a faulty toilet for the entire trip that ran water constantly and often would not flush, coffee capsules in excess of 3 per person (even for a 7 night stay) are charged at €2 per capsule, and a wardrobe light that could only be turned off by touching a bare wire.
Food & drink: Hot food was inedible (Operations manager confirmed even the fish was frozen as well as tasting terribly!), cold options edible but very basic, and several drinks were either undrinkable or took up to an hour to arrive — some never arrived at all.
Service: Frequent delays in ordering, inattentive beach and restaurant staff, and at times rude or inappropriate comments.
Other problems: Power failure in my room one evening, unclean floors caused by dirty boots of workman following maintenance work, no provision of free drinking water beyond one small bottle per day, and poor communication regarding spa bookings.
While the Operations Manager acknowledged many of the problems, his explanations were concerning, and no meaningful resolution was offered other than a 30-minute massage voucher — despite my stay being severely impacted from day one.
Having stayed at multiple 5* properties I would say this property is operating closer to a 3 or 4-star standard, but it is marketed and priced as a 5-star hotel. I understand this may be common to other hotels in the area, and refill during school holidays, but in my view stars should not be based on common local practices and I want others to avoid the dire mistake I made in treating myself to one-off luxury trip and left feeling extremely disappointed and misled. I cannot recommend this hotel to travellers seeking the quality, service, and experience normally associated with true 5-star accommodation.
bypass this hotel, nothing works, the beach is dirty, the service is zero, the food in the hotel is plastic and tasteless
