Terramaya

Room was not as expected on photos. We were given a room facing the street so it was noisy. Also we booked twin room but was provided double. Very difficult check in as the receptionist did not speak English but we managed with Google translate. The receptionist recommended and booked us on a horse ride tour of 3 stops which she wrote down but in the middle of the horse ride the person who took us on the ride informed us he is only going to take us to one stop. We called the hotel as we booked this tour through them and they were of no help. Felt abandoned in the rain... Total rip off. Don't book any tours through the hotel.

Beautiful boutique hotel with just six rooms, about two blocks from the Central Park - Very comfortable rooms with a great breakfast overlooking the garden, and they were very accommodating regarding dietary restrictions. The hotel is very well appointed and the staff are very efficient and friendly. They have a secure parking lot across the street. The hotel was very peaceful and they have a security guard at night. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone that is visiting Copan Ruinas!

The staff was super helpful and congenial. The facility is lovely, a haven on your journey.

In the middle of the town, walking distance to alot of attractions, staff was very welcoming, room was very clean and spacious, would definently return

Beautiful spacious rooms with AC. Our room (#5) had balcony overlook church and mountains. Breakfast was great. Good parking inside a locked area directly across street. 2blocks from main square

This was a great place to stay while visiting the copan ruins. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and were able to accommodate myself and my father very quickly. We also had a great view of the mountains from our room and I took full advantage of the hammock. I would stay here again and I would recommend this place to others visiting copan.

Terramaya is wonderful! By far our favorite hotel in Copán Ruins and we have tried many. The staff is fantastic, the rooms comfy and beautifully decorated and the breakfast AMAZING! We will be staying here again!

We had really a great stay at Terramaya. Lovely place in a super nice town.

The Terramaya team take good care of you. Angela, the owner was a great conversationalist, and in tune with mother earth in this exquisite part of the planet. I loved being able to walk to the world renowned ancient Mayan City of Copan which is about 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel and also 5 minutes to the lively town square with many restaurants and facilities. Copan Ruinas is a lovely walkable small town with an enchanting tropical forest landscape surrounds.

Not much English is spoken in Honduras and it was the same in the hotel. However the staff were very kind and welcoming and made a special effort with translation software when my few phrases of Spanish was not enough. I liked the great breakfasts and free filtered water served in the refillable glass carafes and encourage the hotel to cut down on other packaging such as sachets too. They are leading in this respect. Thankyou for the stay. I wish it could have been longer!

My 3 night stay was excellent, starting the day with an amazing breakfast, the hotel is close to the most important attractions, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby! I would definitely recommend it. Amazing stay!

Terramaya is a very charming and aesthetically pleasing hotel in a great location. The staff were so lovely. Breakfast was of high quality. I hope to stay there again someday!!

The young ladies working there we’re wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, they even sent us with a bag breakfast when we had to leave at 6am.
Short work to Centro.

The attention was fantastic and the hotel very cozy, making you feel right at home.
I would just suggest maybe putting another mirror in the bedroom.
Other than that, loved it and would come back.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel minutes from the Copan Ruins. It is tastefully decorated, pristine in cleanliness, attractive and has excellent staff. I recommend it most highly.
