Pros:

Lovely comfortable western style hotel. Huge rooms and beds, lovely bathroom and shower. Great buffet breakfast. Good location right opposite the z beach area which has loungers with parasols for some shade. We had a lovely ocean view room.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

Fleur De Lys felt like a 5 star hotel; we loved the people & relaxed culture of the city of Quy Nhon
Pros:

My hubby and I just had the most wonderful time staying 17 nights at the Fleur De Lys. ALL the staff - from the happy and friendly pool man, to the joyful, polite room cleaners, to the quick to assist (yummy!) buffet staff, and the concierge were absolutely amazing with the quality of care and service they provided. The GM, Mr Quang, is doing an amazing job with his team! Extra special call out to Miss Gam (concierge), who went way above and beyond in her service, to help us in so many ways, especially when my back was seriously sore and I needed to access local medication etc.

Our room (King Suite Ocean View) was just as depicted/described and excellent for our 'long stay' with a comfie couch, table and separate living space to the bedroom. The view of the beach was truly fabulous from our balcony. The King bed was very very large and comfie (but, as is typical in much of Asia, quite firm).

The locals in Quy Nhon are SO friendly. We felt SO safe and comfortable in this friendly city. Food is pretty safe to eat as westerners, yummy and cheap and easy to locate near the hotel - though eating in our hotel room was also good value when we wanted a quite night in. Found a great western food option at the Quy Nhon Sports Bar.

We loved the hotel's 25m pool and (basic) gym, but also swam in the beach across the road most days. It was safe and nice to swim in (though it wasn't the 'blue' time of year for best viewing). There was a lovely strip of garden and paths to walk on and simple street exercise equipment and kids playgrounds all the way along for kms in front of the hotel stretching along the beachfront.

We HIGHLY recommend this hotel and this wonderful location in Vietnam and do hope we can come back again soon!

Would have loved a bath in our room. Wierdly, the room had two toilets, but no bath! So that would be one small thing in terms of possible better room design.

Great beachfront location
Pros:

Really well located on the ocean front, with good sized rooms and a comfy bed. Breakfast was pretty good though more choice offered for Asian customers. That said the eggs were cooked fresh and were very nice and there was a good selection of bread. The staff at breakfast were a little slow. The pool is nice but very shady so not as big a benefit as we’d hoped. No doubt we paid for the beachfront location but compared to all the other places we’ve stayed during our 5 weeks in Vietnam this one feels a tad over priced.

Pros:

Beautiful property, but service could be better
Pros:

The hotel itself is stunning: very modern, clean, and in a beautiful location. It has all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end property, and the overall aesthetic is definitely 5-star. Most of the stay was nearly perfect and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel.

Cons:

To be picky, the service consistency could be better. I felt I was treated differently than other guests, possibly because I was traveling as a backpacker. While others had their bags taken for them, I wasn't offered any help despite clearly struggling.

I also wasn't given a basic orientation of the hotel (locations of the gym, my room, restaurant, bar etc.), which is usually standard at this level.

Prachtig hotel

Hotel gelegen aan zee, met mooie rustige kamer met goede bedden. Heerlijk 50m zwembad, ideaal voor baantjestrekkers met ruimte voor de kinderen. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Zeer lekker Chinees geïnspireerd restaurant voor fijnproevers.

Khách sạn gần bờ biển, đi ngang là tới biển.

Cons:

Hôm mình đến nhận phòng, không có nhân viên nào hỗ trợ mang hành lý. Hồ bơi dưới sản, khá nhỏ. Buffet khá ít món, đồ ăn ở mức bình thường.
