This was an exceptional hotel. Oia is a beautiful place and the Pearl of Caldera has the most perfect location with stunning views of the volcanic islands, Fira, the sea, and back to Oia itself.
We had a lovely cave room with our own hot tub. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathroom was lovely and the sheets and towels changed every day. We had everything we needed.
Jola and the team were always on hand and helpful, but not intrusive. The breakfast was delicious. And the pool area was so cool with amazing views of the sea Santorini and the islands.
They provided a member of the team to carry our suitcase from the taxi to the hotel which featured over 100 steps. I'd have keeled over if I'd tried to donut myself, and they organised a transfer with a great driver and a smart comfortable air conditioned car.
It was the perfect r stay
The only minor issue is the steps to climb back up to Oia's main strip but climbing steps is a necessary part of being in Oia, and a price worth paying to stay somewhere as amazing as The Pearl of Caldera. It wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues but it was fine for us.
Plunge pool was well heated so we could enjoy it in the evening. The view from the plunge pool, terrace and from the rooftop is just incredible.
So many stairs to get to the room.
Poor sound isolation (there was a bachelorette party apparently somewhere and we could hear it)

Hotel was situated in an ideal location for the main sights and shopping of Oia, plus it offered its own beautiful views and space. Their breakfast was small but very tasty and the common spaces and pool were very pleasing.

We had an amazing stay at the Pearl! The views are out of this world. We loved the breakfast everyday and sitting by the pool. Jola was an incredible host! She recommended great restaurants and excursions and booked them for us! Highly recommend.
Everything was good. We enjoyed our stay of 4 nights..the caldera view along with Mediterranean Sea was amazing…breakfast was private & very good. Hassan helped us for our delayed check in.. & the receptionist was very sweet, she helped me for directions first night & arranged everything with my delayed flight after hours late check in.. thanks to both of them .just following suggestions…
1. Pleas keep all cats away .. they scared us & enter in our room in the night.
2. Please add basic amenities like small microwave, Iron for cloths , small facial tissue box.
The views of the caldera were breathtaking. The service was attentive and Jola was very helpful setting up transfers, tours, restaurant reservations. Breakfast was incredible and terrace views were second to none. The pool was a lovely place to relax and enjoy the best of Oia away from the busy city centre. The honeymoon suite was quite private.
Getting through the crowds of bussed in tourists was overwhelming at times and made for slow going getting to and from the hotel in the middle of the day, the price you pay for staying at a place in such close proximity to coveted views and photo ops!
The location was awesome (despite many steps to get there, but well worth it), and had the most gorgeous view. There were tourists lining up to get a similar view that we had privately at the hotel, which was pretty cool. Staff were really helpful and the free breakfast had a lot of options. We really enjoyed our stay here and it’s a perfect base for exploring the island.
While the pool and pool area were great, the bar didn’t seem open (or people just weren’t using it) and the music was repetitive (though this could easily be fixed with switching up the playlists more).
This was one of my favorite hotels of our stays in Greece! Location is PERFECT! The view from the hotel is amazing and the staff were super friendly! We had an incident where we left our key in the room and even though it was 9PM, the staff was prompt to help us! The room felt tidy, although the bathroom did flood a little during showers but honestly we didn’t think it was a huge deal considering how great the pool and view was. I also have to mention breakfast (which is complimentary) was the best breakfast options we had and it was a full buffet with coffee of any choice. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and will be back on our next trip to Santorini!
