It is 15 minutes from the airport by car. It is also 15 minutes uphill walk to many restaurants and shops.
The front desk desk employee is super helpful and great.

Super hôtel,personnel adorable,toujours disponible et de très bon conseil pour la visite de l’île. L’hôtel est très propre et bien équipé.
Juste un petit bémol pour l’insonorisation des chambres,nous avons eu des voisins du dessus très bruyants, obligé de monter jusqu’à 23h30 pour leur dire de faire moins de bruit. Mais pour ça le personnel n’y est pour rien c’est juste pas chance…
Gorgeous Accommodations with spectacular views. Spotless with luxurious bedding and towels.
Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful with island recommendations, car and buggy rentals and booking tours and sunset cruises.
Free Breakfast buffet was plentiful with a lovely variety for all palettes.
We loved our jacuzzi suite. So relaxing sitting on our balcony and relaxing in the warm water after a fun day exploring the beautiful island.
We highly recommend this lovely hidden jewel. Steps to shops, markets and bakery as well as downtown Fira with breathtaking views of the volcano.
Unforgettable trip we highly recommend.

We spent 5 days at this hotel on our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing, 5 star experience. Rooms and the hotel in general are so clean and finished at such a high standard! All the staff were so lovely and could not have been more accommodating and everyone went above and beyond to make our honeymoon so special. Definitely will be returning here! 🫶🏻
Very welcoming, informative and helpful staff. Nice and clean and new accommodation, I would recommend staying here. Good location to explore especially with a car! My only suggestion is maybe have a dedicated area that guests could enjoy the company of the cats, or maybe contribute to their care/feed them seeing as the cats are actually part of Greek culture. I m just very sensitive to animals in need ! Thank you onyx hotel for a lovely few days.
Petit déjeuner de qualité. Chambre très jolie, propre et spacieuse. Petit + pour le jacuzzi, vraiment génial. Personnels très gentils avec de bonnes recommandations pour visiter l’île. Emplacement vraiment parfait, proche de tout.
Dommage que la piscine extérieur ne soit pas chauffée à cette période mais cela reste un détail minime.

Hôtel récent avec suites/chambres et équipements de qualité, propreté impeccable, le personnel est très sympathique et accueillant, toujours disponible pour donner de bons conseils.
Le petit déjeuner est très bon et suffisamment diversifié pour tous les goûts.
Les terrasses avec jacuzzi sont un gros plus pour profiter pleinement de l’expérience.
Seul (très petit) bémol pour la température de la piscine, fraîche au mois de juin.
Todo!! Fue una estancia genial. Además el personal sĂşper amable y atento. El Ăşltimo dĂa tenĂamos que irnos a Atenas sĂşper pronto y nos dejaron el dĂa anterior cosas para desayunar en nuestra habitaciĂłn junto con un papel con recomendaciones para Atenas. Sin duda repetirĂamos!

we got a great hospitality from Denisa and Victoria- they both helped us through all the time we've spent there!
from the very beggining until the very last day of our trip, both of them talked to us with full patiance and with great advices for places to travel or eat. Additionaly, every problem we had they did not hesitate and came strightly to check if anything was ok.
Denisa was such a lovely women to talk to- not only she helped us but you could feel her wormth and love as if you know her for years.
Victoria was also such a kind hearted women that has always been there for us no matter what!
the hotel itself was very big and convinient
we had a large room with plesent view and a very nice pool to swim in.
All in all, it was a great expirience and we hope we could visit there again.

Our son and his partner came here in May and said we had to come here if we were coming to Santorini. We did and had a fantastic 11 days with the owner and staff treating us like family. The hotel was immaculate from the pool and bar area to the rooms. They booked a tour of the island for us which gave us a lay out of the island and also a wine tour which we highly recommend.
For a spot far enough away from the crowds around Thira (25 minute walk) but with a local feel and Greek hospitality you can't beat Onyx Hotel and Suites
