Hotels.com - improve your systems!
Pros:

This is no review of Ayenda Jimatta. Having booked and got confirmation from hotels.com, on arrival there was no booking registered, hotel was full so no room available. According to them, they are not on the hotels.com platform. Probably a nice place, but very frustrating to experience the above after a long travel. So - hotels.com - improve your service or lose customers!

Good location with friendly staff
Pros:

Good location in the town with air con, walkable to the bus station and around town. Walking at night was a bit quiet, 24 hour reception and kind receptionist who stored our bags when we went to acabo de la Vela. Also was a drinking water machine and small kitchen.

Cons:

Ayenda send emails asking you to pay to guarantee reservation even though booking.com handle the payment. The emails add a bit of uncertainty even when you have paid through booking.com
The corridor smelt a bit of weed and the walls are thin so can hear some other guests’ noise but this was not intrusive.
