Location. Except for the spring break loud beach parties are very close and loud at night. Clean.
No closet, just open hanging for clothes and only 6 hangers, Ikea-like furniture, no lounge chair or couch just a plastic bucket chair. There was no onsite restaurant or services. Only two small water bottles per stay, I was there for 6 nights, and they expected you to refill them from a drinking faucet. You couldn’t even buy water. The bed was made with flat sheets which are a tangle by the time the night is over.

I recently stayed at Uma House to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday and we truly could not have asked for a better place to stay. Everything from the service to the amenities was first class. The weather certainly helped, but we particularly enjoyed lounging by the pool. We’ve already been talking about our next stay at Uma. Cannot recommend enough!

The location is very central for the beach and exploring the area. Our room was amazing, very spacious and clean. Roof top pool and bar were great too.Staff were very friendly.
Booked this hotel thru AMEX. Our flight out day of check-in was canceled and we could not book another flight until the next day. Sucks that the hotel would not waive the fee or be more understanding considering almost every flight into and out of Florida was delayed or canceled. I had been calling the hotel about something else for 3 days with no answer and then a recording that the number was unavailable. The same when AMEX tried to call. When we do rebook this trip, I will be sure NOT to consider this hotel since they got free money!
A nice little hotel in the heart of all things just off Collins Avenue. Stayed here for 2 nights pre-cruise and was just right to get into the cruise spirit. The front of the hotel has an appeal of marble flooring and a water feature with a little seating outside the reception area. Reception itself was welcoming and clean with attentive concierge staff. The hotel is split into two wings. One with on the main building and the other next door but accessible from the street which means, you have to drag all your luggage down a set of stairs and wheel them on the street to the next block which can be an inconvenience for those with limited mobility. Our room was located in this other wing and my first impression of this wing was that it was a little more isolated from the main block with little or no staff. The corridor had a smell of dampness as did our allocated rooms. We don’t know what this was, but nevertheless, the room was decent enough for what was a good nights sleep and hence my reason why I would give this a 4 rating. Everything else such as restaurants and cafe’s were in walking distance as was South Beach. A nice spot if you are not bothered about luxury or mod cons.

Excellent hotel. Near to all the restaurants and shops. Stayed two nights before a cruise. Highly recommended.
