he location was excellent, and the sun loungers on the beach were a wonderful added bonus. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the reception staff are incredibly friendly – they resolve any issue within seconds. The wine hour at the pool bar was a lovely touch and a very nice gesture.
Unfortunately, it was extremely noisy. The rooms are not soundproof at all – you can hear every person getting off the elevator. Because of this, it was impossible to get a good night’s sleep.
Another major issue was cleanliness and housekeeping service. The room was not cleaned daily, and when it was, the housekeeping staff would come very late – after 4 PM – just when we were returning from the beach and wanted to rest. One day I specifically asked the ladies cleaning the room to come earlier, and I even left a tip, but the room was not cleaned at all that day.

Extremely noisy rooms, you can hear everything in the corridor and everything your neighbours are doing. Sounded like the upstairs neighbours were running a marathon on high heels.
Unfortunately the Redbury charm was removed from the rooms, and the record player never worked.
Reception staff upon arrival was super unfriendly. Luckily some other hotel staff during the week was more kind.

Water often not available in the lobby.
Lots of small details, which were just not taken care of.
Amazing stay at Uma House! The pool is beautiful, walkable to the beach with 2 beach chairs included, free wine at 5 (slay)! The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff were kind and accommodating. Special thanks to the manager Guido as well as Alejo and Valentina for making our stay so wonderful! We will be back again:)

My and my wife had a terrific experience a the UMA House. The hotel has a very cool and charming vibe and the staff is amazing. The rooms are extremely confortable and clean and the hotel location is very convenient, right by Collings Ave (although keeping away from the noise) and a few blocks from Lincoln Road. It is also a couple of blocks from the beach. We totally recommend the place, specially for singles and couples which seem to be the main target for them.
We encountered numerous issues during our stay and cannot recommend this hotel. We have stayed in Miami Beach many times at different properties, and this was by far the worst experience.
To begin with, our room (244) was not clean at check-in: there was black hair in both the bathroom and the room. The bathroom door was broken, and the safe did not work. Although both issues were fixed quickly, it is concerning that room readiness is not properly checked in advance.
The room was very dark due to a tiny window. However, the biggest problem was the constant dampness in the room. The shower is poorly designed: every time you use it, water leaks onto the bathroom floor. As this appears to have been an ongoing issue, the floor was swollen not only in the bathroom but also in the main room. There was always water on the floor everywhere. We had to place towels on the floor just to walk, and it raised concerns about hygiene and bacteria.
Additionally, guests are instructed to place towels on the floor if they want them changed during cleaning, which is particularly problematic given the constant wet floors. On one day, room cleaning did not take place until 5:37 PM. We returned from the beach to find the room still dirty and had no clean towels.
Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Uma house absolutely exceeded my expectations! I booked 1 night in a sunrise superior king room after spending hours reviewing other hotel options in South Beach. I've previously stayed at the Kimpton Surfcomber and loved that hotel but couldn't justify the rate for 1 night, knowing we'd get there late and not fully enjoy the amenities. No regrets booking at Uma House! It was as lovely as my stay at the Kimpton. The gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was so kind and welcoming and very thorough in his explanation of all the Uma House amenities. Our room was very big for Miami hotel room standards. The bed and pillows were heavenly. Bathroom was huge, shower was hot. We were very happy with the room. The rooftop pool is in the sunrise building and there's also a rooftop bar with a complimentary wine-o-clock hour. It's a beautiful rooftop setting. Valet parking $45 and car was always brought around to us without any wait. Uma House is a block off the beach and a 5 min walk to the great Rosetta Bakery. Great location! Would absolute recommend staying here!

Very close to restaurants and the beach. Great part of town, everything is within a walkable distance including the main tourism hub from where you can books tours and exclusions for Miami.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Very much enjoyed my time at the Uma House. The complementary wine hour everyday and the very clean, aesthetic rooms (with a record player!) made the stay very pleasant. Easy access to the beach with two complementary chairs. Highly recommend Uma for a budget friendly but still upscale experience in Miami. Thank you Pear and Dario for incredible service👏🏼
