La chambre est vraiment minuscule et les toilettes sont partagées. Je ne l’ai pas vu en réservant, c est clairement affiché mais pour un hôtel 3 étoiles, je pensais que ça allait avec
Perfect location
The location is great, central, close to the station, canals and all the hustle of the city centre. I didn’t mind the steep stairs and was ready for this. It was that very hot weekend, so the aircon was essential and worked well.
The room is was too small, unless it’s an overnight only. There’s a window that looks into another window. Just a single bed and sink and a strip of floor. Plus a shower that inevitably sprinkles water outside the shower area. TV is pointless really as it’s way too close to the bed. Staff totally disinterested, never saying hello or welcoming.

La posizione è ottima, vicino alla stazione e tutto facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.
La struttura non era sporca ma purtroppo dalla prima notte ho avuto dei problemi di escoriazioni credo dovute alle cimici da letto. Dopo la seconda botta purtroppo ne ho avuto la conferma svegliandomi con più bolle sul corpo. Purtroppo non è stato possibile cambiare camera perché a detta del responsabile era al completo. Io ho dovuto passare le seguenti notti nella stessa camera peggiorando notevolmente.
La struttura è in una posizione super centrale, vicino alla stazione di Amsterdam Centraal ed è in una via piena di negozi vari e posti in cui mangiare.
La camera era molto piccola, con bagno privato (ci sono anche soluzioni con bagno in comune, quindi al momento della prenotazione sarebbe bene controllare di aver selezionato il bagno privato), il bagno e la camera erano puliti, forse solo le lenzuola avevano piccole macchie, ma il giorno dopo subito ci sono state cambiate con altre pulite. Ogni giorno la stanza veniva pulita e cambiata di lenzuola ed asciugamani.
Il phon non è presente in camera ma se c'è necessità di averlo basta chiederlo in reception.
La reception era sempre cordiale e disponibile per ogni evenienza e domanda, sia all'arrivo che alla ripartenza abbiamo potuto lasciare i nostri bagagli in struttura per girare la città tranquilli.
Location was great- right by Centraal station and off the main street
La posizione è molto comoda arrivando dalla stazione centrale, si raggiunge comodamente a piedi in 10-15 minuti. E' inoltre comoda rispetto ai mezzi di trasporto (fermata tram vicina) e rispetto a locali, supermercato e punti ristoro.
Il personale del'hotel è davvero molto gentile e disponibile, si è adoperato per venirmi incontro (avevo freddo e hanno regolato riscaldamento e sostituito la stufetta elettrica di cui la stanza era dotata).
Io ho prenotato una camera singola, la camera era dotata dell'essenziale, ma era davvero molto molto piccola (ci si girava a mala pena). La mia stanza si affacciava sulla via Nieuwendijk, che è una vietta pittoresca e vivace, ma rumorosa fino a notte fonda. Scale molto ripide e strette (non c'è l'ascensore).
The location is great.
Value for money. No lift and you have sometimes to go upstairs for 4 floors. The receptionist is not helpful. I slept-over and i only allowed me 10 minutes to packup my luggage and take shower otherwise he said will charge me a whole night.
Cannot fault our stay here. The location is perfect, 5/6 min from station, close to everything. The check in/out process was super easy! The staff were so lovely and extremely helpful. We initially booked a twin room, we arrived a bit early, (had notified staff of this) to do a bag drop, the kind gentleman offered us an upgrade free of charge to a family room with a double bed, single bed and with a little balcony (not much of a view, but still a nice plus) on the 2nd floor. One of the staff members carried our luggage up to the room also, which was a very small but kind gesture when you see the stairs. The stairs are very narrow and steep (typical of the Dutch style, so please be aware of this, if not suitable for you, as there is no other option), however this wasn’t an issue for us, only that it’s hard work after walking all day 😂
The room was a bit small, but perfectly suitable for 2 people for a 1 night stay, the bathroom is modern and clean.
Check out is also at 12pm which is a nice touch, plus luggage storage pre-post checkout is a bonus!
