Hôtel une étoile pour le prix de quatre
Pros:

Très bien situé prés de la gare centrale. Chambre bien insonorisée malgré le passage dans la rue. Le préposé à l'accueil fait de son mieux pour aider les clients , en montant les bagages dans des escaliers dangereux.

Cons:

Très cher(252€ la nuit) pour un hôtel qui serait d'une étoile en France. Chambre très petite, salle de bains où l'on peut à peine se tourner et où l'eau coule à peine. Matelas qui grince. Pas d'ascenseur et escaliers en pente raide. Pas de petit déjeuner. Pas de local bagages. Ils restent entassés en vrac dans la pièce d'accueil, au 1er étage. Horaires d'accueil limités.

I will NEVER stay here again!
Pros:

I liked the location to downtown and proximity to Amsterdam Centraal station.
Although the bathroom was impossibly small, I was grateful for it being private.

Cons:

Where do I begin....
Nearly every piece of hardware in the bathroom was loose or broken:
- The toilet seat was attached but was clearly an odd shaped replacement as it did not fit the size of the bowl. Plus it was loose and moved side to side.
- The sink's faucet was loose. It swiveled side to side and pulled up off the porcelain. Completely horrible hardware.
- The vertical bar in the shower that holds the hand-held shower head was loose and moved side to side.
- The sink was clogged. The cover to its drain was impossible to pull up. IT was stuck. The sink filled with water and would not drain. The reception guy did get someone to come fix it while I was out. However, I came home to the sink draining properly, but some disgusting wad of clogged up knotted wet mess siting on the floor directly under it.
The funniest part.... they made the effort to print out a sign and tape it on the bathroom door explaining it was fixed and apologizing for the inconvenience, but were so disconnected from inspecting the cleanliness of the bathroom after the fix that they didn't even notice the mess on the floor that the maintenance guy left!
ABSOLULTELY DISGUSSTING AND UNACCEPTABLE! I should have taken pics & vids but by this point I was so beyond shocked that I knew nothing i did would make a difference.

The sheets were worn and pilled. Everything SEEMED clean on first glance but up close and under room light it was obvious to see the faintest of stains in the sheets. It was just so gross.

The bathroom is SO small. Good luck if you're overweight. You won't be able to squeeze in between the wall corner and the sink edge to get to the toilet and shower. It's just incredible that the owners think the plumbing layout is acceptable, let alone that the hardware is acceptably attached & secure to the walls, tiles, and porcelain fixtures.

Excellent location, amazing staff. Would highly recommend, will definitely book this hotel again

The location was perfect, the staff were super friendly, and helpful. They all made us feel very welcome, and looked after us from the start. From a free upgrade and ensuring we were hydrated throughout our stay as weather was so hot. Thank you to the amazing staff.
