Great hotel with wonderful staff ! And beautiful beach in iconic location.
Special thank you to all the members of staff: from bar: Shaban, Hamis and others for cocktails making (which were amazing! ) to waiters (my lovely ladies - I love you !) cleaners (they kept my room well tidy everyday), the animation team: Daniel, Mussa and Mr. Senegal (nickname we created ) for keeping us entertained. Special thank you to the security team, in particular head of the security Kelvin, who kept me safe - top team ! Mr. D - you are also remembered.
But most importantly, thank you to the general manager Ivan who is doing a great job looking after the team and keeping everything in order. It all made my stay safe and remarkably entertained. God bless you guys ! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all ! Until next time … ️

The location and the people are very nice ! Daniel and Mussa did do a lot for us to make us feel welcome - spa is the only bad thing we experienced

We arrived at this lovely hotel at the end of November for two weeks. From the very first day, we received a very warm welcome; the kitchen staff and waitresses were always very friendly and attentive. The entertainment team always did their best to make our stay enjoyable,,mussa Head animator offered us a very varied Entertainment Program his aquagm was particularly tough but very focused and his hike to the bearby village to visit the school classes was very impressive and unforgettable thaks him

My stay at this hotel in Zanzibar fell far short of what one would expect from a so-called “5-star all-inclusive” resort. The location is excellent and the facilities have great potential, but everything related to service especially the food offering was deeply disappointing.
The food variety is extremely limited, repetitive, and poorly executed. The service hours are so restricted that it becomes difficult to plan any day without risking missing meals. In fact, several times around 5:30 p.m., there was no food available anywhere in the hotel something unimaginable in an all-inclusive resort.
Food hygiene was also far below acceptable standards. I even witnessed cocktails being prepared with tap water, which is simply unacceptable, both in terms of safety and considering the hotel’s claimed star rating.
As for the staff, I noticed a huge contrast between teams: at the main restaurant, the staff were friendly and attentive. However, at the beach restaurant and the pool bar, the experience was the complete opposite rude behaviour, lack of care, and a clear disinterest in serving guests.
In summary, this hotel does not meet the standards of a 5-star property. At best, it would deserve 3 stars, and that is only due to its location and infrastructure. Everything related to service, customer care, and food needs urgent improvement.
