Hotel Best Punta Dorada

Ya hemos venido otras veces , sabemos que es una opción segura a lo que buscamos para pasar unos días , tranquilidad , muy buen servicio, comodidad en las habitaciones, limpieza , personal de 10. De hecho en esta última reserva nos dieron una suite y nosotros reservamos habitación normal . Así que de maravilla 😃. Volverémos a repetir sin dudar lo.

I had a nice stay at Hotel Punta Dorado. The breakfast was tasty with a good mix of food. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. It’s a nice relaxing place with seaview.

Very clean, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, located close to a lovely beach and restaurants.

Much nicer area than expected, except for the fact that some people mistake Cap Salou for Salou town and bring their behaviour with them, still, it didn't affect the holiday too much.
The hotel is really very nice, with great facilities. We booked a regular room, but we're delighted with the full on sea view.
We stayed half board and the food was the usual rotated choice that most hotels seem to provide. Only complaint here was that everything tasted over salted and all the cream type desserts had that horrible sickly, synthetic type cream.
Restaurant service was propped up by Erika and Alfonso? who were really good and a young man on entry, but they were generally overworked, so tables weren't always cleared away quickly and some of the other staff appeared a little disengaged.
Reception staff were very efficient and polite.
Evening entertainment was OK, but nothing special, but I suppose it depends on your musical tastes. Great if you like corny 80s stuff and a bit of Abba
Rooms were clean and well appointed and the hotel location is excellent, with lovely beaches, less than 10 mins walk and a bus stop and office 150 yards away, at the top of the street, where you can buy the excellent 10 trip bus pass and excursions.
All things considered, salty food and runny scrambled eggs apart, we really enjoyed our week stay at Best punta dorada, so would consider returning

A really good hotel that is away from the main busy area of Salou but within easy walking distance. All the staff were friendly and efficient, but stayed in the background until you needed them.
We would be staying here again.

Want to open this review by saying that the staff deserve a rating of 5. Every single one we spoke to was pure wonderful. Our five month old was treated like a little celebrity and she was recognising her favourites by the end of our short stay. Special shout-outs to Jonathan on reception (incredible local knowledge, super friendly, want to be his friend!), Niorge in the restaurant (helped with all our little requests every single day, the kindest and happiest soul), Erika (so lovely and sincere and smiley alllll the time!) and Alfonso (works so hard, just a real good guy).

The reason I’ve only given the hotel overall a 4 is because we were disappointed to find the pool really cold. It could have been because we visited in October (right at the end of the season) but it was too cold to be in for more than 5 minutes (even that was a real struggle), and would not have been safe at all for my baby. This was the only thing that felt really disappointing.

The room itself was lovely and clean- two double beds and a cot provided for little one. Great selection of drinks on the all inclusive. Food was ok- always fresh, always lots. Maybe could have been a little more variety throughout the week is all. Would have also appreciated labels (we don’t have allergies, we do like to know what we are about to bite into!). However if we had questions I reiterate that the staff were AMAZING.

Location is quiet but local buses are easy to use, frequent and cheap. Salou though is a bit like a mini Benidorm, if that’s your thing…

Again a huge thank you to the team there. You all work so hard and are an absolute joy.

I haven't been abroad for at least 5 years so me and my brother had booked this hotel.
Honestly I could not fault the hotel at all the staff were amazing,friendly and accommodating. we booked two separate rooms and we thought it would be a single bed how wrong we was the rooms were massive with two bug double beds and a big bathroom. Very clean and we both had a balcony looking out at the pool.
We did the all inclusive package and the amount of variety on drinks alcoholic and non alcoholic in the price was just phenomenal definitely something for everyone.
The food was lovely and again a variety so something for everyone also at the bar you could get snacks so if you missed the lunch slot you could get toasties, fries all included in the price.
We had lovely beaches about a ten minute walk and if you fancied going out into salou itself you can get a bus which was very handy.
Overall I was very pleased with my trip and would reccomend the hotel.

Great hotel, very comfortable rooms, friendly and caring staff. Fantastic restaurant with very delisious and variable food. Nice bar and terrace with swimmingpool. Every evening musical events in the bar. Would like to come back here.

Excellent hotel. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent but the bar staff were exceptional good fun and very attentive. Food was good . We will definitely return
