Quiet superb view close to pretty town with many restaurants

Great Location with stunning views across the Agean! Lovely people!

This was our first overnight in folegandros. The Avaton was like a private oasis and the staff amazing. They truly made our trip perfect!

Easy walk to Chora. Near hiking trails. Friendly, helpful staff. Palomas were the best we’ve ever had! Breakfast was delicious! Elegant, peaceful and private rooms. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We didn’t want to leave!!! We loved this luxurious retreat as our home base for exploring Folegandros!

We were a bit worried our stay wouldn’t be able to match the hotel in Akrotiri. How wrong we were. When we saw our room, the only words to describe it was wow! In fact, this is one way I would describe the whole hotel. Another would be a quiet retreat where Bali, Thailand and Greece meet. The whole set up is for complete relaxation, the way the rooms and pool areas are set up. This is a boutique hotel and has enough luxury sun beds for everyone. The views from the pool and lounge areas are fantastic and every room has a sea view. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is an extension to the hotel partially built but there is no work taking place when guests are here. It did not impact on our stay one bit and we decided it wasn’t building work but a piece of modern art! Our room was spotless and with all mod cons with a very modern design. It is quite a space with a free standing bath. The shower is very powerful with a large bathroom space. The bed was so comfortable, there was no interruption to our sleep. Katrina and Artemis were fantastic and look after us amazingly. Nothing was too much trouble. They respected our space and were not overbearing one bit. They left you to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the place. We will definitely stay here again, without any doubt. The hotel is bordering on near perfection.

Likely one of the most wonderful stays we have ever experienced in the Greek islands. The premises are immaculately maintained, rooms beautifully set up and the views are hypnotizing. The lovely ladies who hosted us were always attentive. Breakfast around the pool area was plentiful and tasty. The main township is a short walk along a dedicated path. The island is peaceful and perfect for relaxing or hiking, and is home to some authentic family rum restaurants. There is plenty to explore, but always nice to come back to this beautifully appointed hotel for afternoon drinks and sunset views of the famous church on the southern peak. Do yourself a favor and stay here before it becomes too popular!!

The property and room were absolutely beautiful. The view of the ocean is spectacular. Artemis and her colleague made our stay special. We we served an authentic Greek breakfast pool side. The ladies were fabulous. A short walk on the path to get into Chora. I would definitely recommend this high end place.

This was a 5 star property with high nightly rates . There was no management about just 2 workers. The WiFi was very poor , the breakfasts the same everyday absolutely no variety but the main issue was the building site at the side of my room . There was no mention at all that they were building right next to my room as part of the same hotel .

Couldn’t be more perfect. From the beginning, when carfully send us an email asking about our arrival to catch us up at the port. The all hotel is something even better than in the pictures. Brand new build, with very nice amenities, sheet, jacuzzi… and what about the pool… the breakfast. And the last but not the least, the staff… Artemis and Katerina, such a lovely, friendly and very helpful girls. We’ll be missing all that. Can’t wait to come back!

Lovely property. 10 minute walk into main town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Facilites are immaculate. Rooms are big and confortable with amazing views of the Aegean Sea. Highly recommended!!

This property is stunning! The design is warm & welcoming while being chic & clean. The staff were super helpful and quick to respond. The room was large and impeccable. The view was insane. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend. Close to town for the shops and restaurants but removed enough to be quiet.
