lovely calm beautiful location for a few days stop-off.
Pros:

great little village, lots of character, hotel beautiful, well furnished. lovely bar and restaurant. boat dock right outside for boat trips up and down the Rhine. Expensive but quality.

Cons:

room very hot - but it was a heatwave - food and drinks very pricey - captive audience - little or no competition in the village.

Ausgezeichnetes Frühsrücksbuffet.

Cons:

Zimmer im 3. Stock ohne Aufzug und ohne Klimaanlage war sehr heiss, relativ klein und daher etwas beklemmend.

A nice place at the lake Constance with a restaurant. Posibility of swimming close to the restaurant. Very good breakfast with good choice of cheese.

Pros:

Beautiful setting, riverfront. Lovely old hotel. There are a few coffee shops in the area, and another expensive restaurant a short walk away. We had bikes, to get around but there is also a small passenger ferry that makes a few stops a day, connecting with other larger towns, like Konstanz. Come here to relax and enjoy the setting.
