Pros:

The room was of a spacious size with a comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean and a decent size.
Jay..the chap who I spoke with, who is in charge of the place was most helpful and polite.

There is parking at the front which is limited..but street parking is available.

There is a little Tesco's and another convenience store nearby.
A couple of takeaways are local as well.
Southampton isn't that far away.

There is a launderette across the road if working away which is handy.

On the outskirts of Southampton but less than 3 miles from the town centre
Pros:

Everything you need on your doorstep.. Shops.. cafés..takeaways..bar's.. less than 3 miles from town centre but in a rural setting and only a 5 min walk from Bitterne Park with lovley walks by the river

The hotel faces the Cobden River. Walking distance to public transport to the city centre. Good size room with a very clean atmosphere. The Owner was very accommodating and very friendly.

Great value for money, big room with all we needed for an overnight stay. Loved the little touches like the box of tissues, miniature toiletries & the heater being put on ready for our arrival.

Cons:

Mattress was very hard but it was brand new so to be expected.

Un endroit très sympa pour un court séjour
Pros:

Personnel fantastique, sympathique, aimable, à l'écoute. Nous avons pu changé de chambre sans problème et le gérant était toujours disponible pour nous aider. La seconde chambre était spacieuse et très fonctionnelle. L'établissement est idéalement situé à mi chemin entre l'université et le centre ville.

Family run hotel and was made to feel so welcome and went out their way to accommodate me as a user of a disability scooter. They changed my room to the first floor and made sure my scooter was on charge overnight for the next days outing.

Fantastic location, 10 minutes away from the Center of Southampton but situated on the outskirts. Less than a 2 minute walk and your next to the river and park.

1 minute away from a row of shops, takeaways, cafes ad bars.
