This hotel is unsafe our room 10 had the window falling out of its frame, the room was basic, bed was clean, bur s matins everywhere. The double room was actually set up for more with a mattress up against the wall and wardrobe used to store bedding so hung our clothes in the bathroom. To top it off our room door locked and wouldn’t open so stuck in the room. No staff in reception until after lunch we banging on the door and eventually we saw somebody smoking in garden they found a cleaner after trying to help eventually she managed to open it as we were ringing the fire brigade. The outside area is grim, dirty and in need of repair. The front door remains unlocked to the building so anybody can get into the place. The booking wording says view of the city what they meant was city dump as that as our view
Everything
Nothing
When we arrived the hotel was locked up. We knocked on the door & tried to call but got no answer so we never got to stay, but instead had to find an alternative hotel at 8pm. No correspondence & booking.com had to intervene & refund us. Appalling customer service.
Bed was comfortable and room was a nice size but set out weirdly due to shape
Was meant to be pub/bar downstairs but this has closed. The hotel looked very tired and uncared for, no signs telling you where to go from the outside. Hallways smelt very musty and the carpets were filthy. Room was cleaner but carpet had stains on. Dirty towels left in bathroom.
Nothing absolutely filthy. I have a few photos but it will only allow me to upload 4 of them
Filthy and not as advertised on booking.com it was like arriving at a derelict building absolutely disgusting

The staff, she is very lovely
The location is good.
It was filthy, stains on the walls bed and carpet, holes in the towels. Cob webs in the windows and the room stunk as did the whole hotel. The place does not get cleaned properly the communal areas and the rooms. There was a broken remote to the TV, and some chocolates left wedges next to the bed from a previous stay, which shows how little cleaning goes on in this hotel. There’s no handle on the door to shut it to your room, so you have to use your key to jimmy it every time. The walls are thin so you can hear all the A lot of these are such easy fixes. I get that it’s cheap but if anyone is thinking about staying here please just spend the extra money and go anywhere else.
