Great room and service but poor 6th floor food experience. We will stay here again but will pass on the 6th floor food experience which was highly priced for such poor quality food.
Location and rooms are good
The elevator is hiding behind and front desk or staff are not patient to guide there
Super endroit, propre et frais, parfait pour une nuit après un long vol. Chambre spacieuse, piscine et personnel très accueillant
Lage Lobby Restaurants and market
Room was not clean. Floor sticky. Mirror full of fatty fingertouch
Clean, modern
I think charging $33 to park is extremely excessive
Too expensive for the tier of experience. The hotel is nice, but we had too many issues to want to go back. The breakfast especially was disappointing considering it costs extra and was not as good as other much cheaper category 2 Hyatt locations. They also charge 31 dollars per night for self parking which is more annoying than anything.
Exceptional service - we stopped in town on our way from Portland to Denver and had a ton of very important stuff in the car that we had to bring into our rooms. The hotel staff were amazing at taking care of us and even had our valet car ready to go at 8 am for us to hit the road. Little details showed personal touch, despite the large sold-out hotel. All interactions with staff were warm, friendly and efficient.
Can't say enough about this hotel as far customer service goes - from booking it several months out to the minute we checked out, customer service was a 15/10! We can honestly say that every single person we came into contact with delivered exceptional service with a smile - from the front desk check-in to housekeeping to the servers in the Contribution bar! I would especially like to mention Sandrea Marsh, one of the concierges. A few weeks before the trip, I called the hotel to speak with her with a general question we had. She completely answered my question, then gave me her email for any other questions I had. Leading up to the trip, we emailed several times and she was always prompt with responses and spot on with her answers and advice. During one of our conversations, I had mentioned to her that we would be celebrating an anniversary and retirement while there; she evidently noted it and sent up balloons and cookies to our room one night. Overall, our stay at the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City was a wonderful experience, and if we should ever find ourselves back there, there is no doubt where we will stay!
Very disappointed which is not what I was anticipating feeling after my stay. The hotel has a responsibility to communicate with guests when thousands of kids are staying at their hotel causing major congestion throughout the entire hotel. Elevators were impassable, stairs weren’t accessible due to emergency use only. Meanwhile, they charged a premium for booking on Independence Day. I imagine in most other instances this wouldn’t be an issue but I wouldn’t know. Transparency is king and the Hyatt Regency Salt Lake came up short in that department.
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for one night. The staff was welcoming and sincerely compassionate and caring from the moment I walked in the door. I was so appreciative of their care. In my one night stay, I asked for an extra blanket, and even had assistance with an ice bucket machine giving me some problems. I was assisted with directions to the mall, which I walked to from the hotel. The hotel is in the center of the city and offers great views. I used the fitness center (open 24 hours) on the sixth floor before sunrise. The view of the sunrise over the city as I went for a run was spectacular. The hotel is CLEAN and the lobby beautiful. I was so impressed. Our son is attending the U and we will be staying here on further visits. Stay here, you won't regret it (the beds are great too!)
Tolles und schönes Hotel an einer guten Lage in der Stadt.
Cleanliness, staff, comfy bed
Nothing wrong
The beds were clean and comfortable and the on-site restaurant was pretty good.
You need to use your room key to access the elevator. It's not very intuitive to use.
