Totally a good stay
Pros:

The breakfast was good, but the chutneys were not so tasty.

Cons:

The steps to go down into the lobby is not user friendly for senior citizens.

Pros:

Very clean rooms, wash rooms, corridors, lobby etc. May be a new property I guess. The location is very convenient to move to other places, get a cab, nearby food joints etc. The restaurant attached serves awesome vegetarian foods. The courtesy of staff is also very welcoming .

I genuinely enjoyed my stay at the Ikon by Annapoorna.
Pros:

I did not know what to expect at all as it was my first time traveling to Coimbatore. The location was quite central in the RS Puram district. The breakfast was a wholesome and tasty selection of South Indian dishes. I would like to thank the Reception staff, on the morning of checking out from the hotel, I had booked a private taxi for my onward journey, however due to a miscommunication the taxi did not arrive. The Reception staff on duty immediately assisted me with rebooking a taxi and ensuring the taxi arrived. I greatly appreciated this.

Pros:

Amazingly big, clean and quiet rooms. Comfy bed. Staff was very polite. Loved the fact that hotel and restaurant are pure vegetarian. Nice breakfast and best restaurant in town.

La nature et le confort pour un séjour indien reposant et calme après les tumultes des cités !
Pros:

Le cadre entouré d'un beau jardin, à quelques pas d'une rivière, aussi, les bungalows si confortables, le restaurant avec un excellent buffet et un service de grande qualité.

Cons:

L'accueil à la réception, peu communicatif et motivé à apporter des réponses aux questions du voyageur. Sinon, RAS, personnel très chaleureux à part la réception !

I want to acknowledge the positives. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the overall service provided by the hotel staff was warm and professional. I also truly enjoyed the breakfast at the Cove restaurant on the 2nd floor — the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff made for a great start to the day.

Dear Hotel Management,

My experience at the 1st floor restaurant during lunch was deeply disappointing. My father and I were asked to share a table with two strangers while we were already in the middle of our meal. This created a very uncomfortable situation for everyone involved. We felt particularly awkward when we needed to get up to wash our hands, as it required the other guests to move as well.

In today’s standards of hospitality, this felt intrusive and inconsiderate. While I understand that the restaurant may have been crowded, this alone does not justify compromising guests’ comfort and privacy — especially in the middle of a meal. The situation could have been handled with better judgment and sensitivity by the restaurant manager.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and review how such situations are managed in the future, as it significantly impacted an otherwise pleasant stay.
