Amazing stay in Rhodes!
Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at Porolithos. From the very beginning, Katerine, the owner and host, was wonderful. She was already helping us before we arrived with transfers, recommendations and tips about the island. Once we got there, she took the time to sit with us and explain everything about Rhodes and the property.

She made us feel so welcome and comfortable that we really felt at home.

And the breakfast was amazing! A great mix of local products and options for different tastes. The homemade granola was delicious, but the fig jam was definitely the highlight — absolutely incredible!

You can tell that everything is done with care and attention to detail.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Rhodes. Everything was perfect, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

Amazing, unique and beautiful!
Pros:

A truly beautiful and unique place, made even more special by the warm and welcoming owners, who genuinely go above and beyond to make every guest feel comfortable and cared for. Every detail throughout the hotel has been thoughtfully considered and beautifully designed.

We spent our first night here, and it was the perfect introduction to the island. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a special and memorable experience!

Non è un boutique hotel, è una casa antica riadattata a B&B, fascinosa ma scomoda.
Pros:

Posizione ottima, personale gentilissimo, colazione non a buffet ma di ottima qualità servita con piatti, bicchieri e posate molto belle. L'hotel ha offerto servizio di trasporto con auto elettriche - le uniche abilitate a girare per la città vecchia - per riportarci al parcheggio più vicino (a circa un km). Sarebbe ancora più utile indicare ai clienti dove parcheggiare PRIMA del loro arrivo e, se possibile, fargli trovare una auto elettrica per portarli all'albergo quando solo carichi di valige e non sanno bene dove andare.

Cons:

La stanza era molto piccola, appena più larga del letto matrimoniale, e soprattutto NON aveva finestre. Solo il bagno aveva una piccola finestra, che però si apriva su un corridoio della casa, quindi non c'era molta areazione. Ovviamente non potevamo godere di alcuna vista (neanche sul cortile interno) e la porta a vetri (oscurati per fortuna) che separa la stanza dal resto della casa era talmente sottile da poter sentire tutto quello che accadeva in casa, e viceversa (quindi pochissima privacy).

La prima notte non abbiamo dormito per l'altissima umidità, la mattina dopo i vestiti si potevano strizzare. La seconda notte ci hanno fatto trovare un deumidificatore che ha attenuato il problema. Trattandosi di una casa molto antica, ci è stato chiesto di NON usare la carta igienica perché avrebbe otturato le tubature, quindi andare in bagno richiedeva una doccia anche in piena notte, Ci hanno spiegato che è un problema di tutte le case in Rodi vecchia, tuttavia non è il tipo di disagio che ti aspetti da un hotel in questa classe di prezzo.

NOTA: questa recensione si riferisce alla camera matrimoniale più economica, è probabile che alcuni problemi (es. umidità e privacy) non si verifichino in altre tipologie di stanze più costose.

Look no further, this is perfect Rhodes town stay
Pros:

Perfect location in the old town, quiet thanks to the thick stone walls, beautifully decorated. Katerina is perfect hostess with useful tips and recommendations. Absolutely the best breakfast- fresh, lots of food, in courtyard setting, every day some special greek treat, amazing. Thank you again for your kindness and hospitality, you set the bar very high and we are grateful for meeting you.

Pros:

Hotel is in a wonderfully central location in old town. Cafés, shops, the little tavernas, everything is within an easy walk, so you never need to get in a car for an evening stroll. Being this central and still this quiet at night is a rare combination.
The room was much more spacious than we expected; even with the suitcases open, it never felt cramped. As for cleanliness, I have absolutely nothing to fault — everything was spotless, the bathroom and the bed linen included. The air conditioning cooled the room quickly on hot days and ran quietly all night, so our sleep was never disturbed.
But what really makes this place special is Katerina. She welcomes you not like a guest, but like someone she has known for years. Chatting with her over morning tea, and all his tips on where to go and what to eat, were honestly among the best parts of our holiday. That kind of warmth and genuine interest is hard to find these days — truly priceless.

Wonderful stay with the perfect mix of beauty, history, warmth and hospitality!
Pros:

Breakfast every morning was absolutely delicious, with Katerina and Zafiri making sure every single detail was thoughtfully considered, from the beautifully set table to the wonderful variety of foods and drinks.
And the location couldn’t have been more perfect. Just a few steps away from all the shops, restaurants and cafes, yet the hotel was wonderfully peaceful and quiet. You would never know that all the hustle and bustle was happening outside.
