Quite. Felt safe staff always around.. location of hotel great for me in Astoria.
The room was clean and comfortable, and although it wasn’t very big, it had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was especially comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. The receptionist was also very nice and welcoming. The hotel was about a 13-minute walk from the subway, making it reasonably convenient for getting to Manhattan.
The main downside was that there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Given how small the room was, this made the lack of ventilation even more noticeable. Another thing to keep in mind is that the hotel is located in Little Egypt, Queens, an area that can be quite noisy, even at night. We stayed on the sixth floor and could still hear street noise from our room, which might be an issue for light sleepers.

Air conditioning doesn’t work - front desk staff tried to help us by providing fans but it was way too hot. At $750 for a 2 night stay, working AC is a minimum standard
