Its very sad because some of the staff were so helpful, efficient and friendly.
However, my review is overwhelmingly negative. We booked a wheelchair/disabled friendly room: Deluxe King Suite
Please be aware, this is not wheelchair friendly nor is it disabled friendly if you are unable to walk up steps. To enter the hotel, there are about 4 steps. We were shown a different way to enter our room however there were still 3 steps to get onto the balcony and 1 step on the path leading up to he balcony.
Inside there were 4 beds and the room was a good size. Should you wish to use the bathroom, there is a step which is approx 6-8 inches deep. To go out of the main room door, theres another step. There's a step into the bathroom about 2 inches deep. The marbled floors have various chips in them throughout, which can cut knees, feet and hands if your mobility allows you to crawl or bottom shuffle. If you cannot walk and/or climb a steep step, you would not be able to access the bathroom at all . The edge of the step is raw, no rolled top or smooth join. Where the step is, theres also no lighting, so once the main lights are off, its very dangerous. We ended up shuffling slowly so we felt when we had reached the edge.
Again, theres another smaller step into the bathroom which incidentally, smells of sewage and even keeping the extractor fan on, does not help. We also, didnt have any hot water there for the 11 days we stayed there. The plug sockets are not very safe looking at all. See pics.
95% of the time the food was virtually cold and had to be sent back.
On arrival we were told there was no balcony door key because the previous occupant had lost it. It was replace late the following day . The door locks at the top of the door was broken too and this had to be repaired. The water cooler and heater was broken so they came to repair it. We pointed out the way they had repaired it was dangerous. A day later and the large bottle randomly fell off splashing water everywhere, including the electric plug plus narrowly missing my grandsons head which would easily have killed him. At that point I demanded a replacement. The replacement came and they were wanting to plug it directly into the wet plug! My husband said no, it was dangerous. We were left to mop up all the water ourselves much to the amusement of one particular guy. We became so fed up with complaining it became embarrassing and we gave up in the end.
A couple of old regulars in their, I'd guess, 60s, came to stay a week into our holiday. Every night come about 11pm (23:00) they would put exceptionally loud music on, about 8-12 feet in from of them, on the side of the pool, facing away from them. This would go on until around 02.30 am (02:30). Now thats one thing, but the hotel were loath to do anything because they were regulars! When I went to reception at about 3am, the phone was ringing off the hook and people were gathering, to complain. Eventually the music went off but 30mins later, it was back on again, this carried on until the end of our holiday. They won't get any new regulars if others are treated like that.
The Internet hardly worked, 50% of the time at best and we couldnt get any English TV. Another thing was that there were frequent power cuts for upto 45 mins at a time. Very very disappointed and there was also a lot of pressure to complete the hotel review with one of the staff which puts you in an awkward situation if your review is poor, like this...
I will try and upload the photos I took
A bit out of the way if you want to travel to Central Cairo, but convenient for the Pyramids. Oh and theres a deep step to even get into the hotel from the path.
You will not do better for the price - the staff are friendly and accommodating, the food at the restaurant was great and the view was one of the most spectacular things I’ve ever seen. The photos provided by the hotel do not do the view justice.
Rooms although basic, provide everything you need
Excellent location with a view of the pyramids. The hotel food was tasty. Employees were nice. My room didn't have toilet paper or towels.
We had to request them. Clean rooms
I booked all my excursions though Mario at the hotel, each excursion I had a tour guide with incredible knowledge on all of Egyptian history, we also had a driver for each day, I had 2 different ones both were lovely and helpful too even when doing the airport pick ups for me which were very early hours in the morning I was always greeted with a smile.
Mario really helped me when I accidentally packed the wrong plug adaptor, he went out of his way to get me one and drop it back to the hotel, he had also messaged everyday making sure I had the best experience during each activity
Leider hatte die Klimaanlage nicht wirklich funktioniert. Der TV Empfang war nicht existent. Ansonsten ging es.
The shower room drain was broken, which was very inconvenient.
The hotel staff were very helpful upon checking in and each time assisting with all my inquires for all my day trips around Cairo then to Luxor return right up until my checkout with my pre-booked transport which nearly didn't turn up but thankfully the young lady at the desk got hold of my booking arrangements and made inquires on my behalf and I was really happy with her kind assistance especially as I only spoke English
Everything was awesome
Perfect service
Thank you guys for making my stay a pleasant one!
Can see pyramids and walk to them. Nearby service station has great snacks, salads, cakes, drinks. Market for local food within a short walk too. Helpful tour organiser, with or without guide. Prices upfront.
Excellent service. Listened to what I requested and organised transportation and guide, plus ride to airport early in the morning.
safe area to walk. nice folks. 5 min walk to pyramids.
This hotel is very special. We arrived as tourists and left as part of a family in Giza. can highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Egypt. Thank you so much to Amr, Seif and Ahmed for making this the most special and spectacular journey of our lives. We will come back again for sure! The facilities are great and the staff even greater! We came for the incredible Pyramid view and we will come back because of the incredible people!
Location was brilliant. Right opposite the pyramids. You can walk there. 700 LE per person for entrance. We got on a horse and buggy to travel round the sites for 1000 LE for both of us. For over an hour. Fantastic value and the driver Mansuer was very informative. He took pictures of us at the pyramids and stopped whilst we took pictures and videos ourselves. Breakfast was excellent. Fridge in the room as well as coffee and tea making facilities. We ate lunch upstairs and a main meal which was both excellent looking out over at the pyramids. The next morning we had breakfast which was again excellent. The water was hot in the bathroom as each had it's own little hot water boiler. Slept well also in the beds. We booked airport transfers through the hotel which was good value.
The location is very near to the pyramids. Room is clean. Get higher room to get better view. Will coma again. Slight far from centre cairo. Rooftop restaurant food also very good. Travel agent available to arrange transport but have to compare price.
It was excellent

-Restaurante en 5 piso tiene comida decente y buena vista
-Restaurantes de otros hoteles cerca(puedes ir caminando) como "Tasty House","Sun Z" y "Sun roof"
-De los hoteles "Decentes" con mejor precio
Cons
Strat with the good they say.... well, the view from the room and the roof top was THE BEST! Most staff, except the gaggle of women who are aggressive and rude. I had friends meeting us at the hotel and wanted to leave their stuff in our room as we went on our tour together. As we were trying to get on the elevator she aggressively told me I couldn't have guests in my room and that they could go to the roof. I explained to her that I was not having guests over and that instead of attacking, she should have asked. It was very unprofessional. The other big plus were the Sudanese workers who were kind and gentle! Kudos
Now the not so good -- the hotel itself. It has SOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL. The view is amazing, but the rooms are pathetic. Old heavy furniture, noisy mini-refrigerators, and awful pillows. The mattresses clearly are worn out -- they dip in the middle when you lay in them. The curtains were dirty and old, I just don't understand how a property that is directly across from the MENA Marriott, probably the most expensive hotel in Giza, and this hotel doesn't spruce up their hotel and charge more money and become a boutique hotel with the most amazing view.
The breakfast was expensive and not that good-- took forever! My son got sick from the burger he ate for dinner.
