Very let down, wanted to leave after the first few hours.
Pros:

The staff were friendly, the room was large and well decorated. The hotel itself is very beautifully decorated. The location is excellent, a beautiful and safe area close to a supermarket and restaurants. The breakfast was quite nice and again in a very well decorated room with lovely views over the city.

Cons:

We booked the suite room with a private heated pool. We planned this trip and this hotel specifically as a rest/rejuvenating weekend. This dream was not to be fulfilled. I wish to state first the staff, though young, were relatively friendly, however apparently unprepared for things going wrong and as such made the entire trip worse.

Upon checking in, we paid the full amount and were checked in by a young man named Carlos who spoke relatively little but enough English. He cryptically mentioned that the pool was "room temperature". I assumed they just meant it would need to be heated up which was fine. Upon entering the room, we checked the pool and it was stone cold, impossible to enter. We called reception and were told that yes unfortunately the pool is "room temperature" - not that it was broken. The pool is actually outside, it is not covered - so it is impossible for it to be "room" temperature.

We spoke with the manager who eventually stated the pool needed maintenance and it would not be for several days so it was not going to be heated during our entire stay. This was extremely unfortunate and we did wonder when it happened and why they had not said prior to our arrival as we could have booked another hotel. In this regard we were very let down by the staff as instead of directly stating the problem they tried to talk around it and almost act as if we were causing problems in our disappointment. They also took the full payment. We of course complained about this and were offered and accepted a discount.

We also attempted to book an in-room massage however the representative was very rude in her communication and the masseurs arrived nearly an hour late without communicating any delay, we assumed it was cancelled. We were offered a discount due to the late arrival but it was an offensively little amount and had to send them away.

Amazing design. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms in a great neighborhood!
Pros:

Amazing design. Friendly staff. Contact with front desk 24 hours via what’s app. They solve problems very quickly. Amazing breakfast included with stay. Excellent rooftop restaurant!

Cons:

My only complaint was there was some construction nearby that started at 7am that I wasn’t made aware of by booking when I book.

Gem of a hotel, close to restaurants and nature

Pros:

Het ontbijt was heerlijk, het beste van onze hele reis in Colombia, met veel soorten fruit, een keuzemenu voor een warm gerecht en heel sympathiek personeel. Bovendien was de ontbijtzaal boven in het hotel waardoor we een prachtig uitzicht hadden !

Cons:

Het hotel was een beetje gehorig, we hoorden soms mensen in de kamer naast ons.

Untrained staff, amateur operation, inadequate facilities in rooms.

Cons:

Inexperienced, amateur staff, most of whom were totally unable to communicate in English. Inconsistent service - staff seemed confused. My safe didn’t work and a staff member made 6 attempts to fix it, then had to call someone else. My friend’s safe also did not work. Rooms had APPALLING lighting. It was impossible to read after 6pm even with all lights on. No comfortable chair. No Kleenex. Mistakes on my bill and on my friend’s bill. Inadequate closet and hanging space. Nobody in bars at night. Nobody in hotel restaurant at night. Terrible food at dinner (overcooked shrimp, salad soaked with dressing).

Good value for money, great location
Pros:

Good value for money, good breakfast and friendly staff. Really nice location as well, right in front of a very cute cafe and bar. Very nice design of the hotels
