The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. The location is also amazing and the hotel has a rooftop bar only for its guests.
The air conditioning is very loud, we felt like we had construction works going on next to our room. It was also very intense and there was no night mode to select.

We had two rooms - in one of the rooms there was a little bit of moldy smell, I guess it’s because of those caves (beautiful) inside the room, underneath the floor that are not completely sealed.
Great location with super rooms inside caves, very cool in Materas stifling heat. Great facilities and staff were very helpful. Transport to and from the car park was a breeze too.
This Resort made our visit to Matera much more special. Matera was a real bucket list place to visit for us in Puglia. Hotel is so central located and has a such a great view over this old city.

It’s modern, beautiful, comfortable and so well appointed! The shower room is a real treat. The house keeping staff etc were all wonderful.
The advertisement on booking.com suggested we booked a “triple room” which was meant to be one double and one single bed. The hotel blamed booking.com and could not do anything for us the night we arrived (it was after 10pm). They said they would discuss with us the following day which they didn’t, given we only had one night left we didn’t approach them, but when I did mention it on check out I was told it was up to me to have followed the error up the day before, this put a slight blemish on an otherwise amazing stay.

Este hotel es simplemente encantador. Su arquitectura respeta y realza la esencia única de los Sassi de Matera, convirtiendo la estadía en una experiencia auténtica. La habitación fue espectacular, muy cómoda, con un baño precioso y excelentes acabados.
El servicio fue inmejorable en todas las áreas: recepción, bar y desayunos. Todo el personal fue amable, atento y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, haciendo que nos sintiéramos muy bien atendidos durante toda la estancia.
La ubicación es perfecta para recorrer a pie los Sassi y disfrutar plenamente de la ciudad. Además, el transporte desde el parqueadero fue muy fácil de coordinar y funcionó sin ningún inconveniente. Sin duda, un hotel totalmente recomendable al que volvería sin pensarlo.
