Beautiful hotel in a beautiful and peaceful property. The views are spectacular and the rooms are comfy and spacious. In top of that the service is wonderful. Chris was the breakfast attendant and she was always kind and courteous.
I highly recommend this amazing property if you are staying in Sacred valley
I never seen such beautiful views in a hotel, this place is not only beautiful, the time are large with a luxurious feeling, but in the middle of the mountains of Urubamba and close enough to Macchupicchu, really breathtaking. The service was impecable, the food at the restaurant was delicious, we couldn't been happier to pick this hotel for our stay. What a gem!!
A lovely garden location making for a resort feel. The spacious grounds were neat and well maintained, even having alpacas grazing. The bedrooms were large, well equipped and wonderfully quiet and in our case, a twin room with two double beds. The restaurant which was very quiet when we were there served a wide range of Peruvian dishes which were well presented and tasty. The icing on the cake were the staff who were friendly, professional, attentive and thorough. The smiling ladies in the kitchen, the helpful and knowledgeable waiting staff, the lovely breakfast staff with their happy demeanour even at 6.00 a.m. and finally Anabe for her outstanding reception skills, all made for a super stay.
This establishment offers an exceptional experience, characterized by its pristine cleanliness and picturesque garden. The presence of llamas and alpacas adds to its charm. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the lobby, bar, restaurant, and maid services.
When we unexpectedly had to depart early in the morning before breakfast service, the staff graciously accommodated our request by opening the breakfast buffet a few minutes ahead of schedule.
Restaurant with a very good menu and delicious dishes.
Highly recommended!
The hotel is in a beautiful setting. Very quiet with good, if reasonably basic accommodation.
Quite remote if you want to go out (a taxi is needed).
We wanted to go 5 mins up the road to a hummingbird facility. It wouldn’t have taken much for a member of staff just to drop us up there (one was leaving at the time) but the guest experience doesn’t seem that important.
When we went to pay at the end of the stay we were told the card machine “wasn’t working”. I was asked for cash and they attempted to over charge me.
A shame really as this could be a really good hotel if it focused more on ensuring guests were happy
We chose to stay at this place for a few days to relax after a hectic schedule exploring the sacred valley. One of the drawcards for us is that it is about a 20 minute walk from the Ensifera hummingbird sanctuary, which we took the time to visit while we were there - just note it is 20 minutes of solid uphill walking. Our room was clean and we enjoyed having a balcony and a view of the gardens. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The restaurant served a good breakfast with eggs, vegetables, fruits, cereals and cheeses. We enjoyed the dinners we had there too. We just got a bit stuck because the restaurant was only open from 2pm in the afternoon, which is a lot later than we would normally have lunch, and the hotel is pretty isolated for other options. It worked for us as a place to escape the hustle and bustle of the more touristed areas.
Nice place to stay for the night. However it is not close to Ollantaytambo, have some plans to move around. The site is just a plain neighborhood.
This hotel is set in a beautiful valley with mountains surrounding it. The rooms are large and clean with either a patio or balcony overlooking the area. We really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the quiet and the view.
The bathrooms are large but could really use updating. There was a bathtub/shower combo but the tub didn't hold water and I didn't realize it until I had used all the hot water trying to fill it. And the shower pressure was very weak. The breakfast was good and filling. Another improvement would be to have food available at lunch time. We had a verrrry early pick up time in Lima of 2:45 am. We had a little bit to eat at the airport and figured we'd eat once we arrived at the hotel. When we arrived at 11:30 am, we were notified that the restaurant wouldn't open until 2:00 pm. I understand that as most people are out on tours all day but to say it was a long wait until 2 for us is an understatement. The employees were all very nice and helpful and I would stay here again but I would eat lunch in town.
Orlando took great care of us and even provided late night taxi service. Break fast buffet was the best.
Traveling to Peru was number one on my bucket list for many years. One of the highlights was staying at Inti Punku in the Sacred Valley. After the noise and bustle of Lima, coming to this place was such a welcomed change. It's so tranquil and beautiful. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially Anabel! I love that they grow much of their own food and even have llamas and alpacas who "mow the lawn". I would definitely stay here again!
I truly, truly enjoyed the beauty and serenity of this property. Well appointed rooms, the sound of a mountain river flowing, beautiful flowers, and very pleasant and attentive staff. I recommend Peru as a must go destination and the Machu Picchu trip an absolute must and making this hotel a base camp won't disappoint. Get off the hamster wheel of go, go, go and let the nature and mountains melt all your stress away. The Inti Punku Valle Sagrado Hotel will do just that after all it is the Heart of their famous Sacred Valley (Valle Sagrado)
Due to mechanical issues with our train back from Macho Picchu it became apparent the hotel restaurant would be closed by the time we returned. We were extremely grateful that with a quick call they kept the restaurant opened until we arrived.
A great, friendly Welcome. Ideal location and fantastic views sitting on our balcony.
A special thanks to Orlando & Ruddy for our dining experience and packed lunch when we needed it.
Thanks very much, and all the best to all the staff for our great stay.
We booked an Exoticca tour for 19 days in Ecuador & Peru. We had a Wonderful stay at the Inti Punku Valle Sagrado Hotel. The hotel room, staff and property were exceptional. 10/10 Thank you Anabel, Orlando, Oscar & Freddy.
We recommend this hotel.
We have stayed two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodation, gardens, politeness of Staff but especially when being looked after by Orlando in the dining room and bar, the smile on his face lights up the room and nothing is a problem.
We will come back again.
Volveremos.
Great base for Machu Picchu. It is only about a 20 minutes taxi ride from ollantaytambo train station. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming. We would like to especially thank Orlando for providing such great service throughout our trip. He really went above and beyond.
The property is very nice and well kept. Llamas are on site. In house bar and restaurant. Knowledgeable staff.
Wonderful bartender named Orlando - kept our food and beverage needs met! Even recommended local spirits, and gave me a bday shot!
This hotel is delightful. We were welcmomed by the most helpful host but unfortunately I don't remember his name. He carried our many suitcases to our room.
This hotel is a quiet oasis, with stunning views, llamas (or alpacas) roaming and the sounds of the nearby river.
Orlando could not have been more obliging. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
He and Freddy are a great team!!
Localização incrível. Jardim maravilhoso. Serviço excelente.
