A damage deposit of NZD 100 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
Please note that we do not provide daily housekeeping service.
PETS
Assistance dogs, such as guide dogs, hearing dogs, and dogs for those who are disabled, are permitted. Only selected rooms are pet friendly. Pets accompanying guests are in the sole care and are the responsibility of their owners. Dogs must be kept on leash in all public or shared areas. Pets must not disturb or otherwise disrupt the quiet enjoyment or safety of other guests stay. Appropriate food and water bowls, litter trays and supplies needed must be supplied by the owner, hotel property is not to be used for these purposes. Litter trays must be used on tiled surfaces only and kept clean and emptied regularly. Pets safety and wellbeing are the full responsibility of their owners while staying at Roomie Apartment Hotel and no liability will be accepted. Any damage caused to hotel property including but not limited to; scratching, chewing, urination or faeces will be incur an immediate $500 fine charged to the guest on the credit card provided.
NON-GUEST VISITORS
All non-guest visitors must be met & Accompanied by a named guest .The named guest is responsible for the visitor whilst onsite and liable for any damages, and room fees for that the visitor incurs. These visitors must not stay overnight in compliance with our Fire and Egress process. If Roomie Apartment guests wish to add extra people to their room occupancy this must be pre-arranged with the Management.
Both One bedroom apartment and Loft Apartments are located on our brand new tower block and there is NO LIFT ACCESS AVAILABLE FOR THESE APARTMENTS.
PAYMENT
Payments of the full booking amount plus a security deposit of $100 is taken as a credit card pre-authorisation at the time of check-in. The pre-authorised amount is set aside by the credit card company for a period of up to 10 working days (release times may vary, please check with the issuing financial institution).
We require valid photo identification on check-in in the form of Driver’s License or Passport and evidence of your booking reference for bookings made via travel agents and OTA websites. You may be asked to present the credit card used to make the reservation at the time of arrival.

I would highly recommend Roomie Apartment Hotel to anyone looking for a clean; spacious place to stay; staff were so friendly and very helpful.
We stayed here for 5 nights together with my sister; niece and my mother who were visiting from Brisbane. The 3 bedroom apartment, our kitchen, dinning area was exactly what we needed.
My mother was very pleased; the lifts to the rooms assisted her; 24 hour security; our rooms were cleaned every second day; staff were lovely; helpful and delivered clean bath towels daily upon request. Lots of car park spaces; all under security cameras.
The apartment building was perfectly placed; walking distance to local cafes; shops and then to the Sunday morning markets in Avondale.

Very nice and peaceful and clean and tidy , the lady who checked us in Winnie , I think , was a beautiful soul , and such a pleasure to talk too . We enjoyed our stay for the weekend
We had a hiccup on checking out getting our bond back due to a mix up, took some resolving , with one or two staff members unable to work it out , but , again Winnie to the rescue , one conversation with her and the ball was rolling, she is a genuine good person and this made the whole experience a lot better , this in no way takes away from our experience staying at Roomies , as we know sometimes mix ups happen, we are sad it will no longer be a place to book and stay as we did and and have enjoyed our stays there

Apparently this property has been sold and may not be a place to stay from the 7th Oct 2025. Such a disappointment as location is very convenient for getting to the airport. I hope the new owners keep the property as is
I have stayed here a lot and been happy overall. However it has become noisier at night time and the floors are very thin so you can hear people walking around and they don’t seem to stop all night which isn’t ideal when I’m there for work. Will probably try somewhere else next time.
Everything exceeded my expectations. Service was really friendly and kind. Rooms were clean but with the pet room it needs to be sprayed with some air freshener as the pet rooms has a bit of smell left from the previous guests.

Just received an email from this hotel informing me this hotel is closing from the 7th October 2025 and also my forthcoming reservation has been cancelled. I only booked it last week. They should have updated their website to stop taking bookings but didn't.
