Great eclectic spot to relax recharge and enjoy the town.
Pros:

The location is perfect. Close to Vanderbilt, close enough to downtown to uber but not too close. The property is very nice. Rooms were spacious and fun. Pool area was great. The bar was good and bartenders were personable and competent. And the live music was great.

Cons:

Nothing. Oh, and Hattie B’s is right next door. That might be too close. We did visit twice. That’s a warning for folks. 😊

Exceptional Casual Luxury in Heart of Nashville!
Pros:

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel close to downtown Nashville with a ton of restaurants, bars, honky tonks and shopping within walking distance. The hotel itself is very clean, new amenities, phenomenal restaurants and friendly staff. The customer service is exceptional, very attentive and welcoming. The rooms are modern and spotless, luxury bedding and amenities, floor to ceiling windows overlooking Nashville. Really a luxurious stay and worth the money. My only complaint was the cost of valet. Almost $130 to park for 2 nights is insane. The valet staff were very friendly, very quick to retrieve my vehicle, 24 hour in/out service, but severely over priced as you’re forced to valet only on property. It would be the one thing that makes me decide to stay somewhere else which is a bummer because I absolutely love this property.

Beautiful hotel in prime location.

Central location-beautiful interior/design.

Cons:

Nothing I didn’t like. I just so happened to plan a trip when it was CMA fest (which I was unaware of) and the hotel price was on the very high end for one night.

Potential to be a great hotel
Pros:

Lovley interiors, whoever did them has done a very good job in every aspect of the interior design of the hotel. Very comfortable and very large room with lots of storage. Clean and comfortable.
Great location for mid town.
Good bars and food in the area if you don't want to be in the middle of the madness.
Right off music row.

Cons:

The service of this hotel was some of the worse I have ever experienced.
This was not down to individual staff but the hotel management need to review how they are operating this hotel.
Mentioned in a lot of reviews are issues with the complimentary water. We were told that it would be refilled everyday house keeping came, and if we did not want house keeping then we could ask a reception.
Never once was the water refilled, I belive this is due to the accessibility of this water to the staff.
We had to request our room to be cleaned as by day three still no one had even knocked on the door.
This was a consistent issue.

The biggest issue was the hotel pool, we picked this hotel due to the pool as we are not used to the climate we felt it was essential to have. It is also a focal point of the advertisement.
We only went twice as it was very dirty and unwelcoming.
No staff attending the pool, a constant stream of people at the pool, drinks left in cleaned for hours and even at one point floating in the pool.
Waitresses were doing an amazing job given their environment.
Constant short staffing with lazy inattentive hosts.

There seemed to in general be short staffing from the restaurant, bar and reception.
Constant wait lines at reception with one staff and phones ringing.
Even at peak check out and in times.

The hotel has beautiful interiors and finishes but management needs to be reviewed.

Innskráningin gekk ekki vel því of há fjárhæð var sett á kortið því afgreiðslustúlkan áttaði sig ekki á því að ég hafði keypt hótelgistinguna í gegnum booking.com og ég fékk ekki voucher-a fyrir morgunverðinum sem var innifalinn í bókuninni.
Þetta var leyst af starfsfólkinu á 2 degi dvalarinnar. Síðan gleymdi ræstingafólkið að láta ný baðhandklæði hjá okkur en við leystum það sjálf með því að ná í handklæði á ræstivagninn sem var neðar á ganginum (fengum reyndar fullt af litlum handklæðum).

Best Events Team!
Pros:

The best events team in the business! We often travel with 125 ppl and have experienced all types of services and the Fraye Hotel team knocked it out the park. They were consistent, solution oriented and miracle workers for managing ad-hoc requests. Our team felt the support and care throughout our entire event.

Wonderful employee!!
Pros:

Tish at the front desk is absolutely phenomenal! We had rented an Air B&B where the host never responded one we got there at 11pm. Air B&B was supposed to reserve our rooms at this hotel, but ended up just putting a hold on the rooms. We were traveling with 5 kids, ages 15-20, and it was 12:30am by the time we got to the hotel. Tish took the better part of an hour to get everything straightened out and charged to Air B&B, and she got all 4 of our rooms close together on the same floor. She comped us breakfast, helped with parking, and had a general great attitude helping our family. What started out as a very frustrating night, ended wonderful because of this woman!!
