Very nice, wel equipped rorbuer
Pros:

Very nice rorbuer, wel equipped kitchen with an oven. The rainshower was really good, lots of warm water. We had a smal terrace were we enjoyed our koffie. It was very quiet. We had dinner at the restaurant, that was really tasty. Parking space nearby for free.

Amazing Views from Our Balcony
Pros:

We didn’t actually stay in a rurbuer but in a two bed apartment (no 202) and it had the most amazing views from every window and from a large balcony. We looked directly out to sea and could see the islands and mountains in the distance. The apartment was big enough for 4, with plenty of seating for 4, an oven, hob and dishwasher.

Breakfast at the main building was excellent too - very good choice. The only problem for me was there was no decaffeinated coffee or hot chocolate available at breakfast, but unfortunately this is often the case in Norway.

Reception staff were really helpful, and managed to juggle rooms so that we could stay in the same apartment when we had to stay an extra night due to our flight changing.

Authentic fisherman’s cabin close to Svolvær
Pros:

This was our first experience staying at a Rorbuer in Norway’s beautiful Lofoten islands. Our cabin had a beautiful view but very short doors, especially for someone 6’2”… the downside was that there was a fish processing plant beside the resort which we were not prepared for. Otherwise fantastic!!!

Die Unterkünfte verteilen sich über die ganze Insel Svinøya, sehr komfortabel direkt am Wasser und gut eingerichtet. Sehr gutes Restaurant (gehoben - entsprechende Preise) und Frühstück.

Amazing peaceful and charming loaded with history.
Pros:

Loved everything about the whole place. The history, the location, the cabin, the staff, the breakfast.. and the absolute peace. The only sound I heard for 3 days were the seagulls.
The day before checking in, I arrived late and stayed at Thon. Moving to Svinoya Rorbuer was a the full fledged upgrade. Highly recommend

In vele opzichten een unieke plek met unieke mensen.
Pros:

Dit verblijf was de high light van onze rondreis door de Lofoten, Vesteralen en Senja. We waren hier 5 nachten.

Cons:

Eigenlijk wilde we hier niet meer weg.

Beautiful
Pros:

Beautiful place

Cons:

Staying 4 nights, I would have expected cleaning. My apartment has only been cleaned once, after the 2nd night.
No new towels, only vacuumed and made up my bed
